What a fantastic resort!!! Set on a spectacular beach this resort has everything you want and more. Plenty of good quality resturants and bars(although they do get busy at peak times) It always felt safe with plenty of security and police around and the locals are very friendly. We took the CiTI bus from the main terminal at Civic Center and arrived in about 25 minutes to Camp's Bay. The beach was clean; the water was chilly and pretty rough. We did see a few brave people wading close to shore. Overall, this is a pretty setting with many good restaurants and shops along the front street. I... More

This is a beautiful beach. Visited it at 6 in the evening and it was a wonderful evening. Sea was bracing and the waves knocked me over. Really enjoyed it. To give you an idea of how cold the water is it is the ssame as the Atlantic off the Irish Coast. Very cold for the first 2 minutes then... More

Camp's Bay Beach is just one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. With the sugar white sand and the scenic beauty of Table Mountain as a backdrop, you can hardly ask for more - and the nightlife and restaurant scene right on the doorstep of the beach, you can't be happier than staying right here on Camp's Bay!

But the ocean is cold. We loved the beach and the atmosphere. Friendly people and relaxing days in the sun. Also the possiblities to get massage in the beach tents. It´s a great spot and the twelve apostles in the background as well as the table mountain makes the scenery just impressive and dramatic in full Afriican style.

Full of tourists and traffic jams. Nice looking beach when viewed from the mountain. A little overrated, though.

One of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Close to all the restaurants there. Lots of action on the beach, games being played. Safe parking, but a struggle to find parking. Very clean. The vendors is a disturbance when you're trying to relax / read and they're trying to sell you something every two minutes.

This is South Africa's version of the French Riveria. Beautiful white sand and an azure blue sea. Good restaurants bordering it so you can have great cocktails for sunsets and breakfast/lunch and dinner looking at the ocean.

Great beach but preferred Clifton 4, more protected and less crowded. I guess being here over Christmas and new year year made it even more crowded.
