Can't say this was an exceptional beach...but it was busy with families and the active crowd playing v-ball, paddle ball, soccer. Sand was nice, not too many hawkers, and other than everyone sporting 5-7 mm wetsuits, can't say we got wet any further than our ankles...ice cream headaches at toe level! A nice experience and watching the surfers and paddle... More

The most beautiful beach in Cape Town with the best shops and night life. Lots of tour buses to catch right of the road. The Caprice bar worth a try.

This is definitely a breathtaking kind of beach. The fact that the background is Table Mountain makes it even a more spectacular beach to be on. The water is a little cold at this time of the year, but the weather itself, just right. There are so many people playing different sorts of sports and everyone seemed so active. Beautiful... More

The sandy beach and massive, cold waves are just what is needed on a hot sunny summer Cape Town day. A great beach and a good selection of restaurants and bars for afters.

Camps bay beach must be one of the trendiest, safest beaches in Cape Town. There is a good tidal pool ideal for small families and toilet / changing facilities nearby. Overlooked by the twelve apostles this is one of the most scenic beaches on this stretch of Coast. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants with great beach views but... More

Camps Bay is the best place to stay in Cape Town, since it has an evening atmosphere, is close to the center of the city and the beach is a wonder.

Across from my hotel and the beach was clean and just beautiful. I wished they gad more beach activities for kids and that you could enjoy the beach without the vendors.

We didnt spend a massive amount of time on the beach while we were in Camps Bay due to the weather (it was quite chilly) but it is a stunning place to go and relax, just keep an eye out for people trying to sell you things, they get a bit much.
