Camps bay beach must be one of the trendiest, safest beaches in Cape Town. There is a good tidal pool ideal for small families and toilet / changing facilities nearby. Overlooked by the twelve apostles this is one of the most scenic beaches on this stretch of Coast. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants with great beach views but... More

Camps Bay is the best place to stay in Cape Town, since it has an evening atmosphere, is close to the center of the city and the beach is a wonder.

Across from my hotel and the beach was clean and just beautiful. I wished they gad more beach activities for kids and that you could enjoy the beach without the vendors.

We didnt spend a massive amount of time on the beach while we were in Camps Bay due to the weather (it was quite chilly) but it is a stunning place to go and relax, just keep an eye out for people trying to sell you things, they get a bit much.

Great beach, with excellent facilities in showers and including abolutions. Walk over to the Cape Town side, and you'll also seen a hidden gem in Glen Beach

This is one of our favourite beaches in Cape Town. Trendy restaurants and lovely clean beach. Parking can be a problem so get there early enough to grab a parking. As with all touristy places, there are a lot of beggars hanging around the streets.

This is a very pretty beach, in fact all the beaches in Cape Town are beautiful. Lovely sand, great surroundings, perfect for watching the sunset. The view of the ocean is a must see as well. Great restaurants are nearby. But do NOT go to TUSCANY BEACH RESTAURANT!!!! Read their reviews, its mostly bad..and unless you want to have a... More

The sand is soft and white. The beach is surrounded by nice rocks and grassy areas. You can sit in the rocks and watch the sunset. A glance of 12 apostles and Lion Head are illuminated by the light of setting sun.

With the vast ocean in front, and the backdrop of the 12 Apostles mountain range behind you, camps bay beach is one of the best beaches to take a walk or have a sundowner from. Worth visiting if you are in the area.

Better facilities and waves than Clifton Beach, but surf not as good as Muizenburg. Has a good range of shops and cafes along the beach front, and was generally clean and good for walking, sitting, and playing on.
