Better facilities and waves than Clifton Beach, but surf not as good as Muizenburg. Has a good range of shops and cafes along the beach front, and was generally clean and good for walking, sitting, and playing on.

The Bay itself is set in the wonderful backdrop of the twelve apostles and lions head peak's witch makes for wonderful viewing from the wonderful clean beach or one of the eatery's on the coast road! The bay was buzzing and the weather was amazing even though August... More

Picturesque walking on this beach, plenty to photograph, showers to wash one's sandy feet, surfers to watch, restaurants close by to grab a coffee or meal

Lovely sandy beach. We were there in their winter and loved to walk on the beach and look at the huge waves.

There are shops very close to the beach, selling food and snacks at a very reasonable price and souvenir stalls where the prices are good and the vendors are not too... More

Certainly the best beach in Cape Town. A little far from city spots. Great houses with stunning oceanviews.
