Lovely beach with good bars and facilities within easy reach of Cape Town centre. Worth stopping at one of the seafront bars to watch the sunset over the bay or the table cloth of cloud engulf Table Mountain

Landscape between the mountains and the sea. The road access out of Cape Town, is very beautiful with unique and spectacular visual. The water is unsafe for swimming due to freezing temperatures, but you can just enjoy the beach (they have chair to rent), tann, and have a amazing lunch in one of the nicest restaurant in front of!

Beautiful white sand but cold sea. Under the shadow of table mountain and the twelve apostles. Plenty of restaurants across the road. Sunbeds and umbrellas for hire, can get a bit windy especially in the afternoon.

Love this beach, so scenic with the mountains as a back drop and covered in soft white sand. It can get windy, if so move to Clifton beach (15 mins walk) to get some cover!

Nice beach to chill with family or friends, to get tanned, to enjoy the sundowns...if you are tired of the sun or wind, just go across the road, lots of restaurants and bars to continue your enjoyment.

Stopped here for a short while when on the hop on hop off bus. Lovely clean beach, white sand, but as our guide told us, the water was cold. Great place to sit, relax, enjoy the breeze, have an ice cream or a cold beer. It was very pleasant around 5pm when we went. worth the stop !

Possibly the only local beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. Lovely sand, freezing cold water. Will get windy! WC facilities. All the hustle and bustle of the Camps Bay restaurants and bars conveniently across the road. Should be perfect but totally spoiled by all the general beach tat / artwork tat / ice-cream and cold drink vendors who constantly and noisily... More

This beach has great clean pure white sand and free wifi! There are loungers and parasols available to hire and numerous vendors offering drinks, ice creams etc. There are also amazing views of the 12 Apostles, Signal Hill and the side of Table Mountain. The water however is very cold, 14' in February
