Same old, same old. Compared with beaches like on Fregate Island Private or Pralin island in the Seychelles, Camps Bay beach is nothing to write home about. It's a beach. What more can I say?! Across the road, loads of seriously overpriced and some terribly pretentious restaurants. Plus a load of beggars constantly trying to get money out of you... More

This beach was simply gorgeous. I stopped there expecting to spend 20 or 30 minutes, but I stayed for hours walking along the beach looking at the waves, checking out the shells and stopped at a gelato shop across the street when it got a little warm out. I miss it already!!!

This beach is the ultimate. If you can stomach the freezing atlantic water then a good swim is possible. But besides the cold water and the yachts that often throw anchor, it is truly a beautiful beach which is VERY CLEAN.

Just a beautiful relaxing place. Abit chilly in the winter but it has everything. Mountains right off the ocean shore, snow in the mountains two hrs away. Just perfect

Camps Bay is a lovely area, commonly termed "St Tropez".. The houses above the beach are out of this world. The beach is a fair size, volleyball area and also a large rock / sea pool for safe swimming. The water is from the atlantic and barely reaches comfortable temperatures, dry suits quite popular. Plenty of restaurants and bars overlooking... More

The beach here is perfect. Not to busy or huge. Surrounded by an amazing variety of places for food and drinks all within a small stroll. Highly recommend the visit. Sunsets here are stunning!!

One of our highlights! Great places to sit on a patio or balcony, enjoy a cold refreshment (Mojitos are great), great restaurants, lots of activity both on the streets and the beach! All, with the stunning backdrop of mountains! Enjoy!

It's a beautiful place with an amazing scenery of beach + mountains right on the coast. I went in summer so it was warm during mornings and evenings and hot during day time everywhere else but here. The sun was hot but it was windy and the wind was real chilly! Still, had a great time just sitting there and... More

The sand is so comfortable and the scenery is just fantastic. Very relaxing. Too bad the water was a bit cold when I visited so couldn't go in for a dip. Good restaurant choices along the promenade with all looking onto the beach.
