Absolutely enjoyable day in the sun. The facilities are well taken care of with a great selection of food and drinks available. We loved the cool music and the excellent assistance of the life guards and clinic when my little one was stung by a bee.

The kids swam and went down every slide and floating trail they could even though we we're in the middle of winter! The water was cold but they loved every second. Towels are on hand to rent, lockers for safe keeping available at a charge, clean toilets, well maintained, food and drinks at your fingertips and DJ keeping your mood... More

This really is a must to do in the summer! The waves, the sand, the food, the tubes - it's all a lot of mad fun! You'll feel like a child again in the large man-made bay with mechanic waves. Take the family, take yourself. Do it!

An excellent way to relax near water eating an icecream or drinking a cold soda or cooling off on the water tubes or in the waves,

The Valley Of The Waves is very busy and noisy during the peak times and is more directed towards families with children and teens who have just discovered freedom. I prefer staying at my hotels pool (especially The Palace).

Part of Sun City is this gigantic artificial beach, with a massive wave machine churning the waters up to form substantial waves. The beach area is built from artificial sand, very soft underfoot but not the mess of real sand. Plenty of places to have a picnic or just take in the rays. Wonedrful Memories.

A perennial summer favorite for kids and adults, the Valley of the Waves has everything you need. Slides, rides, tubes, pools, and waves. If you're lucky, there will even be live music on the 'beach'. Just be warned, the drinks are crazy expensive (and you can't take your own in), and hiring tubes and towels is just as bad.
