The Valley of Waves is the central feature of the Lost City at Sun City. It is one of the most advanced water parks in the world, dominated by the Roaring Lagoon. When waves are not generated, a bobbing cycle is generated in a diamond pattern.  All Resort residents enter the park free of charge by presenting their resident cards. The Valley of The Waves is so much fun with the rides. There is a lot of rides and a pool area. There is a sea (man made). There were more forest walks and it was amazing I went up the bridges and exotic tropics. This is an excellent attraction!

Not allowed to swim in the water here but very beautiful for sight seeing and cool air breathing. We had our Dinner around the beach in the evening and all the feeling of being around the sea was wonderful.

So Many fun things to do at the Valley of the Waves for young and Old. You can't come to Sun City without spending at least 1 day at the Valley of the Waves... Apart from all the FUN water activities, you can also walk through the gardens below the Palace, all pathways are impeccably maintained... There is a spot... More

I thought I'd bring my kids 5, 12, 16 and one of my kids friends17 to Sun City. Staying at vacation club( VC )for one week. Promised the kids I would take them to the Lost City Place for breakfast or lunch. Upon arrival there is a boom at the circle - explained to guard that I am a resident... More

this facility is truly mind boggling. A man made ocean in the middle of no where. It boggles the mind. The water appears crystal clear, the supporting franchise restaurants and cart vendors supply food and drinks to all budgets and age groupings. Well worth a visit just to see it. For the older crowd check out the observation decks and... More

We spent a full day in the Valley, the grand children loved it. If you stay in any of the resort Hotels or at the timeshare accomadation entry to the Vally is free of charge, eating and drinking I thought was on the expensive side but it was a very enjoyable day

Kids love the Valley of the Waves, besides that it is a bit pricey to go in as a day visitor, the food and drinks are pricey too, this said the kids love the Valley and the lazy river and the slides. Really nice for kids

Had a wonderful time once again. This was the first time we have taken the kids, and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and had a ball in the "waves" !!! The area is also safe enough to let them go on the slides on their own. Just walking around, looking at the landscaping and rockwork, just fascinates me time and time... More

great fun for adults and kids alike. didn't like the fact that only chips and fast food was available so if you a health fanatic, eat lots of breakfast and save for when the Resteraunts open which is only 6.30

We spent an hour or so here and had a great time. Waves are good fun but were a bit sporadic (neither constant or body surfing); water was chilly (end of the day) but fine once you got used to it. I am usually a big fan of slides but was terrified coming off the flume ride - they have... More
