The Valley of Waves is the central feature of the Lost City at Sun City. It is one of the most advanced water parks in the world, dominated by the Roaring Lagoon. When waves are not generated, a bobbing cycle is generated in a diamond pattern.  All Resort residents enter the park free of charge by presenting their resident cards. Fun in the sun

My boys enjoyed a few hours at the valley of Waves. The slide was fun and they had a great time. (the girls went on the maze). Entrance is a bit pricey for a family of 5.

A stroll to the Valley of Waves brought us face to face with an artificial beach with artificial waves. Men, Women and kids were waiting for the waves in swimming gear and shouting at the top of their voices when the waves arrived. Noisy place, one can spend an hour or so here if there is nothing else to do.... More

The Valley of Waves is a waterpark which offers a variety of entertainment options for both young, old as well as facilities for disabled persons to enjoy the outdoors. It is quite remarkable that a 'beach like' environment could be constructed in the middle of a landlocked province surrounded by a mountain range and nature reserve. For anyone who has... More

I cant give a good or a bad review on this one, a lot of thought was put into this creation and there are a lot of activities for kids. It is expensive though if the kids are wanting cooldrinks, food etc - so be prepared to take enough spending money. Lockers are available to hire at R60 which I... More

The slides, and especially, the "temple of courage" are just what adrenalin lovers need. Very good location to go with teenager children.

Spent the day at the BEACH and what fun the waves are so realistic you could imagine you were by the sea not in the middle of the African bush

Except for a short stroll through the park, this is not so much for the old at heart. I can remember the opening day and the hype of the trembling bridge and the gigantic wave that looked 10 times bigger than anything you have experienced as a little child. The most popular attraction in Sun City as one can plan and time their swim based on when the wave is coming. The feel is like being on a real beach and with real wave.
