The Valley of Waves is the central feature of the Lost City at Sun City. It is one of the most advanced water parks in the world, dominated by the Roaring Lagoon. When waves are not generated, a bobbing cycle is generated in a diamond pattern.  All Resort residents enter the park free of charge by presenting their resident cards. Whilst this is a great lace for the entire family, the costs involved are a bit steep. First there is the entrance fee, then you are not allowed to bring in your own food and beverages so the costs escalate very quickly. You also have to be very selective about when you go because it gets fairly full and that... More

The valley of the waves is a lovely fun experience. We had a great time, swimming and lounging about here for practically the whole day. We only left when the rain started to fall. Its great fun for adults and kids, and if you don't want to get in the water, you can hire an umbrella and a towel and... More

Whether you are a day visitor (entrance fee payable) or resident (free to residents) at one of the resort hotels, the Valley of the Waves is the perfect spot for a day in the sun for everyone especially kids and teens. If you prefer a quieter spot, make your way up to the swimming pool above the wave pool which... More

Very busy at lunch time, long queues. But it was Easter weekend so probably expected. Great facilities. Loved that the staff were serious about safety.

This a very substandard enter beech for timeshare people. Groups of drinking groupies, fights over tubes for the rides. No control or interverance by staff

We arrived late, after ten expecting to be trampled by crowds. Instead, pleasantly surprised with: how easily the facility absorbs the crowd, how well maintained it is, the range of food options, the quality of the facility, the short lines for rides, and the ample picnic areas. Well worth the cost.

The Valley of Waves is a must visit whilst at Sun City. Made-made beach with waves, slides, lazy river, ice cream and food stalls- this a great place to spend the day. If you have small kids- this place will be heaven for them!
