I had the pleasure of playing the Lost City Golf course and had a fantastic experience. The condition of the course was immaculate. There are some interesting holes, especially the par-3 crocodile pit. We had an amazing caddy, Bongani, who I would recommend to anyone looking to play this course. Staff at the course were very friendly all-round and added... More

This course is no walk over but certainly a bit easier to manage and the fact that have a golf cart does make it a lot easier to play. It also has a fair amount of rough and some of the denser areas can make it difficult to find your ball if you stray. There are some interesting holes like... More

Great game of golf to be had but watch the monkeys they may steal your ball. Take a cart for a spin and enjoy the scenery

The Lost City Golf Course bordering on Pilanesberg Game has to be able to claim one of the most photogenic clubhouses on the planet with its Zimbabwean Ruins. Make sure you pay for a "fore caddie" you will save heaps on lost balls to have his service. Obviously the signature crocodile hole is memorable but the 9th hole was my... More

Golf course great especially considering rain had been scarce. Good value considering cart half way food and green fees came to just over R600 per person. Food below average and very expensive. Don't go here just to eat. Avoid toasted sandwiches. R70 for the worst toasted sandwich I have ever had. Excellent change room facilities.

Enjoyed a superb round at this amazing golf course, it's architecture is out of this world. The course is a challenge but worth the experience . All keen golfers should play this course.

Only sampled the cocktails here whilst my brother in law played golf. Worth a trip for the amazing views and fantastic cocktails.

Played on a Saturday morning it was so, so busy. The view looking down the first is fantastic. The fairways and greens were in fantastic condition. Caddies are optional, I had a GPS and that was good enough. Carts, drink and a meal included in the price. It cost 1300R for 2. They had some interesting holes-very sharp dog legs,... More

To be honest, our group planned to play both the Gary Player and Lost city courses during our stay in April 2013 and I was looking forward to the Gary Player course more, given the annual Nedbank Challenge being played there. I thought the Lost City course would be second rate and made more for the higher handicap players who... More
