Kruger Is A Great Experience

I stayed in Letaba guest huts and loved it. We saw all sorts of animals, but did not find any of the big cats. It could have been they were there, but not in plain sight.

I booked through krugerpark.com, stayed at Tydon Safaris, and visited both Sabi Sands and Kruger Park, so I’m going to post this review on multiple sites. What an awesome experience. Everything was perfect from the booking through the whole adventure. I worked with Donna at krugerpark.com to book. I waited too long to actually book a safari and I was... More

Big 5 in one day. This is a special place indeed. Still get people waving as they go past - the atmosphere is special, friendly and comfortable. Accommodation was clean and neat.

A mini Mother's Day reunion had five family members meeting in South Africa beginning with our Kruger exploration. We couldn't have been more pleased with Bearded Heron Safari's in making our private tour so informative, comfortable, and collegial! Having Neil Heron as our private guide (and yes - he does have a beard!) was such a luxury. As other's have... More

I love the Kruger National Park. To see the animals in their natural habitat is good for the soul. One cannot get out of your car. There are many rest camps with food and toilets. The restaurants have been upgraded.

The Kruger Park seems adamant to continue with their long lost of appalong restaurants. Adding a well known franchise ro the mixed hasn't changed anything. The service is non existent anf the food terrible. I ordered a smoked salmon and scambled eggs breakfast with rosti, since the breakfast buffet looked very bleak. When I eventually got my food I was... More

self driving is fun. joining a tour is great too. we opted for both experience. we went there in summer so the animals are more lazy and hiding in the sun. for self driving, we drove 3 days and last day we targeted for water areas and found a lot of animals. we had a private and close encounter. if... We spent 6 days in the Kruger park, and saw so many animals !! Giraffes, elephants, hippos, rhinos, lionness and their cubs, leopards, cheethas, hyenas......... Amazing !!!! The parks installations are great, comfortable, and not too expensive. The restaurants are really nice, and the picnic sites are also great.

We spent two days in the park using the Crocodile Bridge entrance. It was amazing to see animals as soon as we entered the park. Over the two days we saw the big five which was great. The facilities at the rest camps for breakfast and lunch were excellent. We ate at Lower Sabie and Skukuza and were very impressed.
