The Southern part of the Kruger is rich with Game and we saw plenty of what we wanted to see including an unbelievable sighting of two Cheetahs.

Fantastic trip once again , Game viewing was incredible. There is no better place to see the big five than the Kruger Park. From wild dog kills , numerous lion and leopard to amazing cheetah sightings.

Can't wait to plan another trip to the park. This was our first trip with friends to Africa. As others have said, can't get out of your vehicle, but we saw so much and were filling our siting book with all types of animals, birds, and reptiles. Saw of 4 of the "Big 5" only missing the leopards. So amazing... More

This was our first trip to Africa. Our group of 5 rented a van and drove every day through lower Kruger. There was so much to see, we never got to the rest of this massive park. Even though we could not leave our van, we saw so much alongside the road, just feet away--giraffes, elephants, various antelope, eagles, baboons,... More

Our family did not stay in the Kruger National Park. We choose to stay in self-catering accommodation just outside the gates in lodges nearby. We spend three and a half days driving through and saw the big five plus much more! Sadly a recent fire had caused a lot of damage, but the animals seemed undeterred. On the weekend the... More

There are scads of reviews of the wildlife encounters in Kruger, most of which are deservedly glowing. I'll concentrate on the less-reviewed amenities. When we were planning our trip, it wasn't clear what quality of facilities were available at the "camps" within the park. I'm happy to say the ones we visited were excellent, particularly the restaurants. We stayed just... More

We spent four amazing days in the park, saw all of the "Big Five" and also witnessed a kill. The park is very dry but the animals looked well fed and in really good condition. The two parks that we stayed in were Burg en Dahl, which was shocking, and Satara which was a bit better. The accommodation really needs... More

We had the pleasure of exploring this wonderful natural landscape for 4 days & stayed in the park for two nights at Talamati & two nights at Biyamiti. Both camps were self catering, were fenced & had excellent hides to watch the birds & animals. The whole park is well run, the animal & bird varieties are staggering. Great experience.

My wife and I spent ten glorious days in the Kruger from 20th August, this was our second visit the first being 2012. We flew to Jo'burg and hired a car, an automatic is by far the best when trying to drive slowly to spot and view the animals. We booked for ten nights in five different camp sites, don't... More

If you are looking for a very special experience in the Kruger Natl Park area, try Elandela Lodge. The staff is absolutely wonderful, so sweet and gracious. The Lodge, located in the Bush offers one the very rare opportunities to view white lions and hippos, on site! Many other animals can also be seen. A true gem, family run.
