The most amazing experience ever. We saw so much, much more than could ever have dreamed. Even the rare black rhino, wild dogs, buffalo. An amazing array of birds. Also complete submersion as we had no phone or internet connection, no tv, radio or music for the whole 2 weeks. March is a great time to visit as quite dry... More

We visited Hazyview region on a 3 days tour with Regent Safaris. We stayed at Rissington Inn Hotel and visited most of the attractions in the region, I.e. Kruger national park, Blyde river canyon, God's window, Lisbon falls, Potholes and Skyway trails. Regent safaris crew were amazing and extremely knowledgeable and assisting. We enjoyed stunning views every step of the... More

Decided to try out the Sukuza rest camp for the night and take and open safari very early in the morning . We went with Awesome Kruger Tours as our game ranger was Tiny a enthusiastic young man who knew his birds. He made a tremendous effort to find Lions , we found a black Rhino, White Rhino etc etc... Loads of wild life around the Crocodile Bridge gate. Between there and Lower Sabie we saw Elephants, Hippos, Rhino, Giraffe, Buffalo, Warthogs, wild dogs and loans of Impala. All close to the road and easy on the car. Fantastic experience

Kruger, in my view, is really about watching and meeting the animals. At least in the southwestern parts of the park, around Skukuza and towards the Lower Sabie you will not see fantastic landscapes. Most of the time, your views are actually quite limited, as you mostly drive on flat lands with not too many views of the river. However, since... More

Sunrise is the time you need to go out into the park. It is a must. Best thing is to be waiting at the gates before they open them so you can be from the first. The animals are still walking around and it's not hot. I saw the big five in my first two hours of the day.

What can I say that others haven't, this place will blow you away. we had only just got through the gate 300m when we saw our first big lion sitting on the side of the road, within meters of many other species of game and bigger. You really need a few days here to take it all in and enjoy... More
