Saw all of the big 5. Great tour guides in open jeeps. Beware of cold weather in early morning and late afternoon drives. Stayed at Mjejane River Lodge near the Crocodile River.

This is a stunning park. It is a self-contained eco-system. You can get close to animals, because they are not afraid of humans, but you must stay in a vehicle for safety. You can see amazing sites, including vultures devouring dead bodies and lions mating. There are places to stay on the grounds, which is a very good ides.

We stayed for four days in the Kruger Nationalpark and saw approximately one fifth of the street network inside the park - so set aside time! And it is worth it. We were so lucky that we saw everything there is to see - Lions, Cheetah, 1000 (!) buffalos crossing the street right in front of us, rhinos, elephants and... More

3 nights in Skukuza and Lower Sabie.. super time. drove from MQP airport to Skukuza and had a 3 bed bungalow with kitchen. The store sells everything you will need but better stock up at Pick & Pay at Hazyview first. The park is best during the dry season when game visibility is high.. we saw the big 5 not... More

My wife and I visited the park for 10 days in May. We stayed at Pretorius Kop and Skukuza. The amenities at the camps are world class an, of course, the abundance of wildlife is thrilling. It is truly an experienceof a lifetime and a heritage we South Africans are very proud of. The service provided by staff at the... More

I love the ourdoors, the more rustic the better. I haven't been to KNP for 15 years because of the commercialism of the park. This time I opted for camping and especially the northern region which has fewer guests. I will surely stay at Tsendze again. Shingwedzi was good but too busy and noisy. At both camps the facilities and... More

What a wonderful 10 hour day! Our entry was near the town of Hazyview. The park opened at 6 A.M. and by 6:30 we had seen elephant, cheetah, several kinds of antelope, and bird life. Kruger is said to be as large in area as the state of Florida. There are many animals but they are scattered in this vast... More

The experiences are so unique to one's time and place it is impossible to frame the experience. Each day is wondrous and wonderful, serendipitous, unexpected and unknowable which makes it one of the world's most intriguing ventures. Stay at one of the camps in the park and participate in the early morning guided walks and the evening guided tours. Otherwise... More

One of the most impressive areas in the world. Wildlife is a little harder to see then in Kenyan parks such as Amboseli, as the "bush" habitat can easily hide an entire elephant, but there is enough to see. The roads are either tarred and in excellent condition or gravel and also in excellent condition aside from minor washboarding. Many... More
