The Panorama Route of this canyon is not a bad way to spend the day if you are in the area. The Pinnacle and God's Window have a very small entrance fee and local vendors at all three sites along the Route. Otherwise I just saw a wide expanse of landscape under cultivation, primarily of trees. There are several interesting... More

This is a must see when you are in South Africa. What an amazing natural display this is. We stayed in Hazyview and this is a good startingpoint to explore the Panoramaroute what this stunning highlight is part of. Can I go again ?

Nice scenic areas along the drive - but The Three Rondavels Mountain View Area is fantastic. The main viewing area includes parking along the dozens of souvenir sales booths. The trail to the lookout splits. The right trail has a nice mountain and canyons view. The left trail takes you to the Blydespoort Dam with large backed up lake. You... More

We saw Bourke’s Luck Potholes - even looking at the photos I can't believe the beauty of some parts of this place, then the amazing views at the Three Rondavels, and then went on to God’s Window. It is an easy and moderate trip, with breath taking views. A must-see for sure.

This was the pick of the views in my opinion - spectacular - followed by Bourke's Potholes and Mac Mac Falls. God's Window didn't do much for me.

It is really a very beautiful site. Do yourself the favour and stop the car, get out and walk around. There are multiple walkways and footpaths you can follow. They all give a different view point. Just watch out for sudden winds! Take care with small children!

We arrived at a spot overlooking the canyon and it was still quite overcast and misty but even then you could see the beauty of the place. The canyon is vast and I had not realised before this visit that this wonderful place existed. There were wonderful craggy escarpments covered in greenery and you can get some great photographs. It... More

We drove all along the canyon as a slow route from Jo'Burg to Kruger. It was absolutely beautiful and we had no idea South Africa had that kind of topography. The day was a little hazy, so the view was diminished at God's Window. By the time we got to the 3 Rondavels the day was clearer. We were surprised... More
