This was a delightful surprise on our trip to South Africa. Less frequently visited but the vistas from the Three Rondavels is breathtaking. There are many view points along the Panorama Route but this is the one to stop out. Definately, walk around and see the view from different angles. Between the sun, clouds, river, mountains, canyon...it's amazing. There is... More

This must be the most impressive vistas of the Blyde River Canyon and the whole of the Panorama Route. Plan your trip to finish off at this View Point and you will not be disappointed. There are two view points and make sure you visit both as they offer different views of the Roundavels and the Sundial at the enetrance... More

One of the most, if not the most spectacular spot on the panorama route. It is spectacular. Looks a little like the Grand Canyon but than in Africa. Impressive how nature has formed these canyons. We also saw baboons !!! Icing on the cake.

The viewpoint over the Three Roundevals is in my opinion the best in the Panorama route. Note that there are two viewing points here - one trail starts in front of the souvenir shops, while the other starts at the far end of the road - this 2nd one provides much better views over both the roundevals and the lake... What a story the landmarks tell, very accessible and affordable. What a site, including the stream at the foot of the Roundavels.

I highly recommend you visiting this canyon. Be careful as there are no railings and the edges are very steep but the view is spectacular.
