Travelled here with our hosts from African Rock Lodge as guides. Well worth the visit and a great photo opp if the weather is good. For us, the weather was fairly cooperative so got some pretty good pics. The scale of the place is magnificent, so difficult to really capture with the camera!

Maybe the weather on the day we visited didn't do them any favours but we could have been in the Yorkshire Dales, not very impressive.

An amazing sceneri view await you if you take the time and detour out to the view point. Again short walking distance but no wheelchairs. Parking just by the path to the view point. Entrance 10 rand.

Was wonderful to see and the mountains look like roundavels, this is really interesting. We did see similar by Sani Pass

I had better view of the canyon from the leopard trail that I took from Forever Resort. The three roundavels get covered with clouds as day progresses during winter. It would be better to see the place early in the morning. The view of the entire canyon is still better.

Beautiful scenery, just have a seat and watch.... it's beautiful. Make sure you don't miss the sunset and depending on the time of the month heads up for the moon rise.... Absolutely amazing. (You have to pay R10/car to get in, very cheap!).

Very peaceful up there and very interesting formations. Great view of the river as well. If you are with kids, be careful as the railings are not very wide.
