had to agree with our pre teens, this site does not seem to even to have a worthwhile visit in the first time, maybe it you have lots of time.

I highly recommend you visiting this canyon. Be careful as there are no railings and the edges are very steep but the view is spectacular.

After viewing the Three Roundavels, I better appreciated the 'roundavel' design of many of the round lodges in South Africa.

We had a misty day but despite this you could appreciate the beauty of the area. Peaceful and quiet - a truly spectacular view.

Loved this viewpoint of the canyon. Just sit and enjoy the quiet and the expanses. We had a clear day - I am told that mist and cloud can make this experience different

Unfortunately not a place to visit in the wheelchair but the photographs I have seen from fellow travellers show the views to be spectacular and well worth a visit.

The landscape is amazing, so beautiful that it seems unreal as if it was an hologram. The lush green valley, the silvery river and those three summits are weird in their roundness, like little huts in the distance. Unmissable.

Not really something you go to but something you see - you know you in eastern transvaal (mpumalanga) when you do and get all excited at the countdown of the trail of waterfalls and pilgrim routes to be retraced this vacation

Travelled here with our hosts from African Rock Lodge as guides. Well worth the visit and a great photo opp if the weather is good. For us, the weather was fairly cooperative so got some pretty good pics. The scale of the place is magnificent, so difficult to really capture with the camera!
