Haze and smoke can be a bit of a pain as the view isn't as clear. Regardless of this, the area is beautiful, well maintained and amazing for taking photos. A must see when in the area and well worth the drive. This was one of our favourite places on the Panorama Route. For more tips and advice on the... More

The view from the look out point makes you feel as if you are standing at the edge of the world especialy if it's misty. On clear days the view is amazing and the Lowveld extends into the far distance. Great for photos and a few silent moments

This is one of South Africa's treasure's that you don't hear about until you get to ZA, but is certainly a must. The views of the Three Roundavels are spectacular and the canyon is ridiculously green, something you don't really see at the Grand or Fish River canyons. The entrance fee is also a great price, and there are souvenir... More

Rocks shaped like Rondawels and named after the chiefs most troublesome wives. There is an entrance fee for cars only - I reckon if we were overseas we would be paying to see such majestic sites. Panoramic views and a great place to take pictures. REMEMBER the gate closes at five so get there on time

A picture does not do this place justice, you just have to see it for yourself. It is breathtakingly beautiful. I couldn't believe that what I was seeing was real and the pictures doesn't help. I am afraid of heights so where there were no fences, I stayed far away from and just gave my phone to those braver than... More

Beautiful view over the canyon and the lowlands in the distance. If this was europe there would be a lot of fences, for safety reasons. But luckily there are no fences, so you can see the nature in all its beauty, but be careful. You can walk and admire the view approximately everywhere you want.

Brilliant and stunning all the way up to the viewpoint. There is a pittance of a fee you must pay at each site you visit from the Roundavels to the many falls, again it is but small price to pay to take in the breathtaking views. The view of the Three Roundavels certainly depict some of the structures we see... More
