The campground was spread out, the picnic table was covered, and the site was right on the beach. Water and electricity only and a dump station and nice free showers. A quiet, restful atmosphere and a spectacular location.

Loved it here!! Beautiful! Super clean park. Friendly staff. Great hike right from the park along the lake. Lots of good hiking nearby.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn and walked to the park. It was very clean and tidy, the workers had just driven over the "beach" read "small pebble area" so it all looked very nice. There picnic tables and chairs which were shaded and a large area to sun bake, swim, fish or boat. Our son who was travelling with us... More

Although it took a bit of searching to find this park online, we're so glad we did. They have recently renovated and now there is electric and water at each site. We had a site that was a few yards from the lake, it was great. Easy bike ride to the Old London Bridge and across for a tour of... More

Stayed here overnight in a RV. Temperature in the afternoon was well over 110F so we felt sorry for the tenters. Waterside was very nearby with several trees providing some shade. Make sure you have water-shoes available, as the bottom is uneven and very rocky. Well maintained beach available at 5 minutes walking (via small gravel trail), but useless as... More

We visited the park in late May and the temps were already getting up there. We stayed at the adjacent Hampton Inn and you can walk into the park from the hotel. If you drive in they charge a fee per car. The park is mostly a RV camping area and a boat launch with some beach access. Good clean... More

We've been using the launch here for years, we always feel safe here. Not so many crazies. The lots are large and facilities are clean. and its cheaper than the Marina!

It was over 110 degree F when we got to the lake so we were keen for a cool swim, however, we took the side via London Bridge being a weekend day, the place was busy with many boats and the combined noise and fuel smell from them was very strong so we chose to move a little further away.... More

Stayed at Cattail Cove which is a fair park but beware, they have rangers writing tickets for minor infractions. When dumping the holding tank of gray water, some ran outside the berm. Cost me a $500 citation. My advise is to never stay at an AZ State Park, especially Cattail Cove, unless you want to risk fines for minor infractions!... More
