We visited the park in late May and the temps were already getting up there. We stayed at the adjacent Hampton Inn and you can walk into the park from the hotel. If you drive in they charge a fee per car. The park is mostly a RV camping area and a boat launch with some beach access. Good clean... More

We've been using the launch here for years, we always feel safe here. Not so many crazies. The lots are large and facilities are clean. and its cheaper than the Marina!

It was over 110 degree F when we got to the lake so we were keen for a cool swim, however, we took the side via London Bridge being a weekend day, the place was busy with many boats and the combined noise and fuel smell from them was very strong so we chose to move a little further away.... More

Stayed at Cattail Cove which is a fair park but beware, they have rangers writing tickets for minor infractions. When dumping the holding tank of gray water, some ran outside the berm. Cost me a $500 citation. My advise is to never stay at an AZ State Park, especially Cattail Cove, unless you want to risk fines for minor infractions!... More

We stayed at this park in a tent. The park was clean, well maintained, bathrooms clean. The Maintnance crew checked bathrooms and trash every morning. There is a lovely desert scape nature walk. There is no shade, so be prepared with something to create shade during the warmer season The problem we had were the feral pigs, they were at... More

Nice clean sites and showers. 50 amp at all the sites and water. Showers were great, lots of hot water and clean. Wonderful hike within the park over to the botanical gardens where there were hummingbirds galore.

I haven't been to Havasu State Park in awhile until the other month, and it was great to see the improvements that were made by AZ State Parks. Every campsite now has a 50amp electric box, with plugs for both RV's and your common phone charger. Also, every site has been given their own freshwater spigot, and many of the... More

We use the park mainly to hike, so I cannot speak to other parts of the park. The trails are well marked and varied. Some small hills, and some trails through brush. Nice hiking.

This is a park on the Lake. It has some RV sites, picnic tables, and rest rooms. If you don't mind the heat, its ok. No trees.
