Last weekend being a three day holiday we drove over to see the wonder of Arizona. Of course I am speaking of London Bridge located in Lake Havasu City. Quite a sight to behold in the middle of nowhere, so to speak. What was most interesting is the history of its story, how it came to be and finally why... More

We went to see the London Bridge, however I passed over it without knowing. After about 5 miles I realized that I must have missed it. When I think of the London Bridge I'm looking for the tall cement towers apparently that's not the London Bridge it's the Tower of London. silly me. While in Havasu we stopped at the... More

If you enjoy the water and relaxing then it wont get any better anywhere on this planet. The water is wonderfully warm and inviting. Hire a boat and enjoy skiing in temperatures of 100 degrees.

Rent a jet ski from London Bridge park and have a blast around the lake. Great fun for an hour for $60.

If you are looking for a great place to visit just a few hours from Las Vegas, Lake Havasu is the place. It can get very hot in summer but there are lots of ways you can access the lake for swimming/boating experiences. I would suggest you avoid the intense heat of summer, or at the very least check the... More

The lake is huge and pretty with the mountains in the background. The state park has a nice birdwatching trail. The bridge is not much to see, but needed to once I heard the story. Looks like it could be fun to camp at the state park. Temps were already getting hot in May.

for boating it was great. There are lots of places to eat right on the river and plenty more in the near vacinity. If you are willing to drive about 15 minutes, there is a Super Walmart, a movie theatre, bowling, indoor gun range, etc... Though we didn't go, there is also an indoor water park.

This is by far my favorite destination. It has the best of all worlds. Quietly tucked away on the other side of the California border, this little lake town has a HUGE lake and is a HUGE tourist attraction for spring break and other fun times of the year. It is sunny and beautiful all of the time, with a... More

Stayed in Laughlin and went here on a side trip. It was so fun! Lake is beautiful! We went to a beach there and swam! Being so hot, it was just what we needed!
