Let our grandson take a dip in the Colorado River

Nice beach and park near the London Bridge. Good area for boating. Water is clear and refreshing! Changing house and bathrooms available.

Had a great time at Lake Havasu because of the London Bridge and the shops nearby. However go when it is cooler. We took the Sunset boat tour from the dock near the English village. The lake tour was very good probably the best thing to do here if you don't have your own boat. There are lots of restaurants... More

Lake Havasu is definitely a spot for the younger crown and sometimes older crowd and it's just super fun on major weekends like holidays of Memorial Day Labor Day and 4th of July and spring break it gets crazy while you can drink on the river and it's just a fun place to be just really hot got to be... Maybe interesting during Spring Break, but nothing to see in July. Dirty lake, where everybody was swimming with his dog. Definitely not visit in July, the temperatures are just too high.

An unusual and interesting City. We stayed in an RV park in city center, convenient to everything. Arizona is so diverse. This lake-side city is busy with lots of people. Not really a tourist place, more like a wayside, but pleasant enough.

My husband, brother in law and I drove up there for the day from the Phoenix area. We wished we had more time to visit. The area is lovely, but extremely hot in July, but it is summer in the desert! The area is clean and well maintained, with lots of water activities as well as a ton of hotels,... More

Went with a friend for a long weekend. McCullough has some nice bars to stop into with good music & good eats. Wasn't too impressed by the lake area. Was nice but prob wont visit again. Clean but mostly occupied by loud boats, drunk people and parties.

The lake is full, the water is warm. Great place to take your boat or rent one and go to the many coves and stop for a swim right off the boat. Absolutely great.

This city was created by one of the designers of Disneyland. The city is designed so all roads have a view of the fabulous lake. I would move here if there were more job opportunities, but the population is made up of mostly retirees and boaters, I think, and there aren't many jobs available. There is no Trader Joes, Zales...
