We first visited Lake Havasu City in 2002. By the end of the weekend we had made an offer on a home. We now have a home in Lake Havasu City for over 13 years> We have seen some growth and development that has just made our City a very nice place to live and to travel for a great... More

Beautiful oasis from the surrounding desert. Vivid blue colour of the lake ( hence the name). Crystal clear and so refreshing to swim in as the temperature was in the 40's!!Lovely place to stop on route to other cities in the area.

We did not know the Old London bridge has been re-built here (saw it come down in London!) until after we booked. This stop was purely a break between Phoenix and Vegas on our Desert Road trip, well worth staying. If you LIKE power boats this place is for you (had my own once-buzz is still there) but then after... More

I have wanted to visit Lake Havasu for some time and have passed close by but hadn't managed it. This holiday we were spending in the Las Vegas area and did a couple of day trips. One of those trips was to Lake Havasu, only about 2 and a bit hours drive from Vegas. Route down the US 95 anything... More

I have visited there several times now and always find something refreshing to do. This time we took a boat ride about 25 miles up the lake all the way to Needles, CA. Along the way we stopped for a beer at a really sweet bar called Pirates Cove and had a bite to eat before heading back to Havasu.... More

As a tourist coming from California, I wanted something fun to do with my friends. We did a little research and came across this amazing website, Mydayontheriver.com , a kayak, canoeing and waterboarding outlet that led us down the Colorado River. The Davis Dam tour was exceptional!! The rocks were so rich and the caves were incredible. I recommend this... More

Spent the day at Lake Havasu and was very disappointed. There were only 7 people staying in our hotel. The town was very dead! Not much to do if you don't like water sports. We thought there would be lots of nice shops to walk in and out of but there aren't. The water looks very pretty but the boat... More
