I am not a water person so I would say come at Spring Break when the scenery is not the curves of the rippling water.

What a beautiful lake! We spent a few days with our boat exploring & geocaching. Clean water & beautiful scenery everywhere! Lots of boat-in campsites & secluded coves. Can't wait to come back!!

My 20 year old friend recently died from a brain eating amoeba, Balamuthia Mendrillas, she contracted while at Lake Havasu. Awareness is key in preventing this horrivic tragedy from occurring again. Family and friends are now suffering an unimaginable loss of an amazing girl at such a young age. Please be "aware" and spread the word.

My 20 year old cousin went to Lake Havasu for her birthday and came home with a brain eating amoeba. On 10/20/2014 she passed away. The CDC has determined that she did get it from Lake Havasu. Be aware that this is not the first death involving parasites from Lake Havasu. The tourist industry sweeps them under the rug in... More

Very quiet and peaceful place to getaway. Take a ride on the lake and watch the sunset over the mountains is so beautiful. After work, I truly enjoyed the relaxing environment not to mention a great dinner by the lake.

My husband has long wanted to visit the area, so whilst on holiday in Arizona we made the trip and are glad that we did. The lake is a beautiful blue, the London Bridge looks as though it has been there for ever. We found it restful even though there were both drag boat and JetSki races on, we could... More
