Word cannot describe how great it is to interact with Lion cubs and a Chimp, to see white tigers, lions, a lot of monkeys and to learn about their history. An hours drive from PTA and definitely worth it - an outing for a couple, friends or family. Great services from Mercy, Maria and Max. You guys have made it... More

The highlight for me was getting to see the lions up close. I will recommend it for a family outing/educational tour.

We visited in December 2013. It's an easy day trip from Johannesburg and a nice fun day out. It can get very hot in December though and without much shade, you'd better remember to wear a hat. And comfortable shoes or sandles because you walk quite a bit. We had a guided tour. Our tour guide was okay. Not the... More

I got to play with the cubs and had photos taken, That was very cute and although they were biting it was not that bad. The cages of the monkey are very small and many of the other animals were restless.

The highlight was the interaction with the cubs. The animals are well looked after. The owner gave us a tour to the lion camps. I would not recommend taking children to the camps. If you do take them with, keep them at a save distance at all times.

I know it seems very tempting and we'd all love to cuddle an adorable tiger cub. But this practice in South Africa whilst legal is morally repugnant. What happens to these animals after they are too big to pet? Well looks like they are sold on to private collectors. I'm sure that your reason for wanting to visit this place... More

We went there for a outing and a tour. Some very strange looking apes. We could touch and play with the baby tigers and touch a grown one as well.

Really not impressed with the upkeep at Mystic Monkeys. I am no animal rights activist but seemed like it wasn't up to standards for taking care of such magnificent animals. We paid to go into the tiger cub cage which was great but there was no supervision. No supervison with growing Tiger cubs!!! We were bitten several times with no... More
