We loved the walking trail to the waterfall. we also enjoyed a Segway tour. The staff were so friendly and very kind. Assisted my six year old daughter so beautifully on the tour.

Lovely camp sites on the banks of the Touw river. Beautiful birdlife. Hired some canoes and spent some time on the river and a glorious day on the beach.

Lovely 8km walk up to a lovely little waterfall where there are plenty of rocks you could perch on for a small picnic. Well maintained path running along the rivers edge and some lovely views.

I visited the park and I regret that I didn't have enough time. There's so much to do inside the park. There are several hiking trails, segway tours, canoe trips, and sightseeing trips.. I have seen log cabins as well as campsites. The facilities are well-maintained. Entrance to the park is R32 for residents (including residents who are non-South Africans)... More

We visited the Wilderness National park and were very impressed with the camping facilities and the cleanliness of the park. The lawns were green and well kept, and there was no litter lying around. The park offers quite a variety of excursions and we hired a canoe at a reasonable price to paddle up the river. The staff were very... More

So many areas to explore, and one can spend many days exploring - great walks, mt bike trails, fauna and flora, birdwatching, and photographers studio - so many aspects and locations to shoot.

We followed a recommendation which brought us to canoe half the way, and hike the second 'half'. So we canoed the Touwsriver (more of a lagoon, as it's blocked by sand, just before connecting to the ocean) about 2.5 KMs (one way) and walked about another 3 KM on a very gentle pass, to finally reach the water falls.I believe... People at the Wilderness Manor suggested to do this walk. So i went a sunday morning and made it in 55 minutes. The reward was great. I would have like to swim there as many did but i was without beach suit. Very Worth it.
