We booked a horse ride for seven. Two adults and five teenagers. We booked via SMS as they phoned and said rather deal via Sms's as signal was bad. We confirmed weights, riding ability etc plus date time and duration. They agreed. We tried sms'ing to get the address and directions day before. On the day we drove towards Wilderness... More

It is interesting that our first bad review is by someone who has not even been to our farm, met our horses or done one of our rides. I did send you a message the following day to apologise for my mistake in messing up your booking. As I mentioned I was having terrible trouble with my phone and had... More

We had a lovely ride at Black Horse. Our horses didn't like to get up speed but they were adorable and our walk (with the occasional trot) around the area was lovely. It is a delight to see people who care so much for their horses and have their wellbeing as a priority.

Horseriding in silent woods with relaxed but fit horses. Evernote can do it, also very beginners. The guide was very careful.

We had a great time with Lindsay and Paul on the trail. The scenery was beautiful and the guys were really nice and knowledgable about the area and abundant wildlife. The horses were all very tame and easy to ride (as we were both relative novices) and we were given simple instructions so that by the end we felt like... More

Mom and two kids went for 1.5 hour ride through forest with owner Lindsay and guide Paul. None of us are riders and wanted to experience it. We were given even tempered horses to ride who never once made us feel nervous. Lindsay gave us the option to trot but never made us feel we had to. I got to... More

We had the best time now in September while being there. The Horses are beautiful and so friendly and a big thank you to Lyndsey for a wonderful experience and for showing us the beauty of the forest and the waterfall and for making my day by running a little bit with the horses. We will defiantly go back to... More

We visited in April this year and had a wonderful ride. They sorted us out with some beautiful horses, my husband was on Jack as a total novice and I had Richtjie. My daughter an experienced rider was on Sophie. We all thoroughly enjoyed the ride down to the waterfall, the scenery was stunning especially in the old part of... More

We had a wonderful afternoon with Lyndsay and Stefan riding the waterfall trail. Brian has not really ever ridden a horse and within 20 minutes we were enjoying a canter through the forest. This is a testament to how well schooled the horses are, and also how safe Brian felt with the ride (and maybe a smidge of excitement from... More
