Timberlake could be a hub for passer by's but did slightly disappoint on my visit. Many of the shops were not really impressive with their stock and although it definitely keeps kids occupied, I definitely expected more. Windmill Cafe makes great pressed juices but you have to wait quite a while even when you are 1 of 2 patrons in... More

Dying to have some oysters, we popped into the Oyster Shack during our holiday stay in Wilderness, and were not disappointed: tasty meaty medium oysters @ R15 each, which seems to be the going rate ATM. We did not spend much time in the rest of the village though.

Don't expect a quick meal from the windmill cafe. We waited for an hour and 15minutes for our food only to be told that one of the selections was unavailable. We had kids with us and had to pay for our drinks and leave because they were starving. Management was not in the least bit interested in apologising and instead... More

This was regrettably from start to finish a very disappointing experience! Poor, unprofessional service. Will much rather stop at Wilderness in future.

I am amazed that Zuccini at Timberlake Village isn't more popular. They are the only restaurant which serves delicious organic food so hard that find in the area. We have been there a few times already for dinner. The people are so friendly and the food fabulous. The cheesecake is out of this world.

We took our 4 year old on a weekend trip to Wilderness and Timberlake Organic Village was one of the stops we made and we ended up staying much longer than planned. It is very inviting, the staff are friendly and there is a fresh produce market behind the kids play area. Acrobranch was a great hit with our son... More

We have been to this spot 2/3 times before and it was always vibey and fun, but this time we left its lost its charm. The stop selection is not correct for the little village. We found it has become to touristy, there is no deli or fresh produce there? All the times we have been there Acrobranch has been... More

Do yourself a favour and stop at this eco village for a well deserved rest if you're on a long drive. Great food and delicious coffee. If you have longer than a rest break then try some of the fun activities available like acrobranch and browsing through the stores. A great place to recharge the batteries and beautiful location.

Situated between Wilderness and Sedgefield, this rural mall provided an interesting break in our travels. Each shop is housed in its own individual timber cabin - the effect in general, was very rustic, with some shops being attractively presented, whilst others looking too much like junk sheds. There were numerous, over-sized sculptures made of old plastic cooldrink bottles. These were... More

It's our second day in wilderness, we've come here to experience the great outdoors, but it is raining - heavily. We decide to visit some attractions where the weather doesn't matter and having read the reviews on trip advisor we added Timberlake to the list. All I can say is don't bother. We arrived on a Tuesday around 2pm and... More
