Awesome Eco Surprise at Timberlake

Very good stop on the N2 High Way. Food was excellent and went there after we were told about it from Black Horse Trails.

Great place to spend the day with the family and friends. We lived the little Organic little stores from clothes to wine and little treats. The kids enjoyed Acrobranch and zip lining through the forest while the adults enjoyed fresh oysters and drinks at the Oyster Shack.

My family enjoyed a nice afternoon at Timberlake. There are interesting little shops, play areas, great restaurants, and live music on the weekends. The adventure course is nice as well. Excellent little stop for a family!

Fantastic location, very convenient stop on the N2. Great activities to let the kids work off some stored energy. Pop in to Zucchini for some excellent takes on traditional South African fare. Well presented good quality and a good selection of wines. There's an oyster shack too!

We visited on a wet day in June, so we did not see the village at its best. Still, the sales people in the shops, especially the lady at the Fairy Shop, were friendly and welcoming. The fairy shop lady went out of her way to help us and was very helpful.

This village is great to walk around and see the little stores of all different things to buy from local wine to fairy store to mohair shop including sightings of 2 of thr animals. To nursery and acrobranching. But one absolutely amazing restaurant called zucchini. Which had delicious burgers and salads which were well worth the money paid. Definitely can... More

Hi LelLeigh7, thank you for your review. A little village that grows, supports local, and hopefully offers you something new when you return is exactly what we are trying to build. Zucchini is going to be thrilled by your feedback. I notice a mountain bike on your profile, we are nearing the end of a 3 month project to clear... More

The Zip slide was great fun and feeding the goats a good distraction for young travellers. Shops not the greatest selection and price. The place looks a bit deserted and neglected

Having driven past many times, we picked up a leaflet and visited for lunch at Zucchini, if we had time we would have returned to try the Oyster Shack as well - sorry, hopefully another time. The restaurants offer a nice, and more rural eating experience than in Wilderness, and I would certainly recommend trying either one of them if... More

I have to get my yearly fix of this place! Beautiful venue with the cutest little shops. The Oyster shack is a must visit to wet your whistle while the kids play can play in the garden safe and sound. Visit the gallery next door and take a peek into Down to Earth where there is always something funky going... More
