Dear MrsKarenJames, thank you for your review. It is so encouraging to receive a 5 star review, especially from a local! We are doing our best to showcase local, and it all starts to make sense for us if we can make residents in our nearby towns proud. Zucchini is going to be thrilled that you enjoyed the vegetarian options... More

Escape to a place where fairy's exist. Where you can relax in the company of friendly shop owners. Organic gardens laid out different than what you are used to. Fresh bread hot from the oven. Divine smells linger in the air. Playground for kiddies. Doggy friendly owners and clean bathroom facilities.

On our travel's to Cape Town we have passed this interesting looking site many times, so on our last trip (on the way back to East London) we decided to stop. I am so glade we did, what a special little timber village. We were captured by the recycled items that we saw and it was lovely to go into... More

Dear AlisonPuchert, thank you so much for your review. You have described exactly what we are trying to achieve. We try hard and it is amazing when someone else sees the value of our little 'village'. We hope to continue offering a healthy, creative and natural experience. It must be said that most of the credit should go to Nature... More

We went for the day to do the zipline courses. What an amazing adventure. The guide Ashley was fantastic and we had an awesome day. Thanks Ashley for being our guide and going the extra mile for making it a awesome memory. Will do this definitely very soon.

Visited Timberlake on a rainy Sunday afternoon. It was not quite as impressive as we expected. Some iinteresting arts/crafts and food stalls, but on the whole nothing special. We were very excited about the chocolate stall, but in the end everything kind of tasted the same and it wasn't quite worth the massive price we paid. Will visit here again... More

Dear Marike, we feel sad that we did not live up to expectations. All the outlets at timberlake are independent owner operated businesses and timberlake is trying to represent the best in small and local, and provide a healthy alternative to the mall with our outdoor activities. We will certainly pass your comments on in a bid to keep improving.... More

Definitely worthwhile to stop here! Such a lovely place, little shops here with goods such as wine, cheese, crafts, sweets, chocolate and mohair goodies. They also have an oyster bar and other places to eat.

Its easy to miss this fabulous restaurant - we drove right past and turned back. Excellent food - the only place to find proper free-range organic food in the area (besides Serendipidy) Honest good delicious food with plenty to choose from. We ate there twice and also had lunch at their sister café opposite. Definitely worth the trip Elana -... More

Zucchinis is a lovely restaurant in the Timberlake organic village which is between Wilderness and Sedgefield. We ate lunch there twice when we holidayed in wilderness. The food is above average and portions are good. I found the prices reasonable. The one thing to look out for though is the monkeys who come out in their numbers to spectate while... More

We pulled into the village a little earlier than the shop owners and decided to take a look around while we waited for the shops to open. My 4 year old son was of course in his element with the kids area and the animals all around. It is one of the most interesting places I have been too and... More

We stopped over for lunch on our way to Knysna. A lovely playground for the kids and farm animals. My son loved chasing the chickens! It is very child friendly and safe for the kids. We ate at Zucchini's - the food here is fantastic and very fresh with beautiful organic ingrediants! Will definitely go back if we in the... More
