Great place to stop and soak up nature, and have fun. Plenty stuff to do and see.... sheep and large play area for kids.... market's for mom and dad.... and with different options for places to eat everyone will get what they want. Their are quad-bike activities and tractor ride's for the kiddies. Don't forget the handmade Belgium chocolate..... mmmmm

We always drove past past, and this was our first stop, and were not disappointed. Great shops, wine store, and eatery options! Great for families, with safe play area, and also adventure activities on site. Do stop - you wont be disappointed

A visitor to the Garden Route from the equally beautiful town of Hermanus! Thank you for your review. We are very excited because in the next few months we will be introducing a coffee roastery and a unique chocolate and loose leaf tea shop. We hope to see you back at timberlake the next time you travel in our area,... More

Charming little settlement on the road between Sedgefield and Wilderness with a small selection of shops and restaurants. Cats, dogs, chickens and an angora goat reside here too. Lovely play area for kids and had a quaint feel to it - homemade cakes, quiches & fruit juices. Shops owners friendly, especially the wine store owners. Would return.

It was okay, but nothing more than that. It seemed sort of deserted, not a bustling hive of activity as for instance the Sedgefield Market. I would not run to go there again.

We were a little disappointed visiting here as we saw more eating places than shops - BUT - the shops that are here are quite nice. Fairies, wine, clothes and some odds-and-sods make up the bulk of the little shops. The artist was exceptional and we will still visit Aquabranch as I think the kids and younger adults will have... Hi Stefano S, thank you for your review. It is always nice to receive reviews from locals. One of our shops is closed and we are currently looking for a small artisan business to add to our shop compliment. This is not easy as the seasonality of the Garden Route makes it difficult for small businesses. This is why good... More

Worth a visit, restaurant superb, shops a bit disappointing , children's play area a great find. Monkeys a pest, and could do with more interesting shops.

It is nor far from Wilderness or Sedgefield, sort of in between making it a great stop if you are on the road or even as an outing! They have great stalls , worth a visit!

Excellent, freshly made food in a casual setting. Very much enjoyed the smoked chicken Panini. A good find along the Garden Route.

Timberlake could be a hub for passer by's but did slightly disappoint on my visit. Many of the shops were not really impressive with their stock and although it definitely keeps kids occupied, I definitely expected more. Windmill Cafe makes great pressed juices but you have to wait quite a while even when you are 1 of 2 patrons in... More

Dying to have some oysters, we popped into the Oyster Shack during our holiday stay in Wilderness, and were not disappointed: tasty meaty medium oysters @ R15 each, which seems to be the going rate ATM. We did not spend much time in the rest of the village though.
