The many and varied shops and places to eat. It sports the world's tallest climbing wall and a massive skate park, amongst others, for the sporty and the healthy! The shopping is amazing and there are over 250 shops to visit. We ate twice at a small place called CIRCUS CIRCUS and the food was really good. Gateway Shopping Mall... More

We had such fun here! Movies, macaroons, Gloria Jeans Coffee, and so much more. I wish that i could have stayed longer just to shop all day, all week, 24/7! A really nice and clean mall.

What an amazing shopping mall. It is the largest in the southern hemisphere! Wear some comfortable shoes or plan more than one visit to the mall. It is quite tiresome to do it all in one day. There are a huge selection of movies, games, shops, restaurants and take-aways, as well as a waterworld! An all-in-one shopping mall!

To me Gateway has all that you would expect from a South African shopping mall and probably more than some! I admit I didn't do a lot of personal shopping there but it had all the usual shops, restaurants and food courts and amusement areas. I did indulge in some ten pin bowling which I enjoyed and there is go... More

We own timeshare in Umhlanga Rocks, so we quite often get to travel there. Going to shop at Gateway is one of the highlights for me, and if the weather is not good, I could just spend hours there, shopping, or sitting at one of the many restaurants. We are fortunate enough to go outside of school holidays, as I... More

We always end up here looking for clothes or eating a meal. It has everything you need to spend a few hours in.
