My partner and I stayed at Tala just one night -- wish it had been more. We were in one of the Leadwood Lodge cottages, which give you access to the beautiful lodge. There are lots of other places you can stay on the reserve, but these cottages have to be the ultimate in African chic: the best bath/shower facilities,... more

We had our wedding reception at Paperbark Lodge in March 2008. We live in Australia, I'm Aussie and my husband is South African so we had guests from Australia travelling over for the wedding and all of the wedding planning was done via email. We visited Tala in May 2007. The map they give you is great but it's sometimes hard to figure out which road you are on. Wildlife: Good opportunities for wildlife viewing.
