Ok so Rands into Pounds etc etc equals pretty good value for money anyway but I have to say that Phezulu is really disappointing. The crocodile park is worth a look I guess; but seen one croc and you've seen them all! Don't eat in the restaurant; it's tired, looks grubby and the food is not nice. But just across...

Worth a visit. It's been a while since we visited Phezulu, but we thoroughly enjoyed our visit a couple of years back. Lots of info about Zulu culture.

The cultural show is good. The items in shop expensive as this is a tourist trap. Zoo area and crocodile farm area a bit tired...try to get there at feeding time and then you will see the crocs move!!!

We visited Phezulu Safari Park not as an attraction but to stay at the Lodge during New Year Holidays. The Lodge is nice and some of the rooms had been upgraded. They have some self catering chalets with great views! Just 30 minutes from Durban.
Rooms 2 and 3 great for couples.

The 'cultural village' is ok, small and not that informative. The dancing was good however. The 'game drive' was good only for the actual drive, quite thrilling at times bumping up and down those steep hills. Little game but the scenery is excellent. The attached crocodile farm is also worth a visit. The drive to Phezulu from Durban and along...

Fine Zulu cultural show for tourists with restricted time. Not as Zulu's live now, but good exposure of how things were. The presenter and dancers were generous with their time after the show and happy to talk of their lives now for example three were at University one doing law - all thought it important to pass on traditional songs...
