This is a must see. The views are amazing!! The Zulu experience was informative. We saw snakes and alligators. And then went on the safari. We were so close to the animals, we could have reached out and touched them. (DONT DO THAT LOL) Some of the best pictures I took this week I took in this park.

Trip to see the zulu village and dancers. Great situation only over 30 minutes drive from Durban in the beautiful valley of 1,000 hills. Restaurant serves tasty food with stunning views. Saw huge crocodiles and amazing to watch little crocs hatching - great day out.

Visited Phezulu to see the Zulu experience which was informative and quite humorous. The Croc feeding was good and the live Croc hatching was amazing. Well worth a visit. The food in the restaurant was really good and had an amazing view of the 1000 hills valley

Visisted the turtle park and crocodile park. You can also hold a burmese python. Tradiational zulu dance and culture experience was fun..Some awesome views from mountain peak, but you dont see the valley of 1000 hills as advertised in most tours.

Thanks for taking the time to give us a review. I am glad you enjoyed our Crocodile and Snake Park and Zulu Village Experience. The view from our Boma Restaurant and the backdrop to the Zulu Village Dance Show is the Valley of 1000 Hills. The hill that we are based on is one of the hills so you were... More

We went to the Phezulu Safari Park as part of a tour of Durban. I would highly recommend it, especially for children. The crocodile display is amazing, with a good commentary by the guide. Also interesting is the display of snakes from all over. The cultural show put on by the Zulus was very entertaining. Unlike another reviewer, we had... More

This is a fabulous spot to bring overseas visitors to: an informative, guided crocodile tour, crocodile feeding, snake demonstration and cultural show for R150 per person. It also has a choice of two restaurants - the more informal with kiddies play area. It has always been a hit except on our last visit where the cultural show was the disappointment... More

Good day Thanks for taking the time to give us a review. I am glad that you enjoyed most of your stay. I appologize for your poor experience at the Zulu Dance show. Great place to learn about the Zulu culture with the added bonus of crocodiles and snakes and even a mini game drive all of this in the splendor of the valley of a 1000 hills.

Great location, perched on a hill looking out over the valley of 1000 hills. Selected the Zulu experience and reptile park options. Having experienced culture performances from around the world I found the Zulu village experience interesting but lacked soul. Would have liked to have seen/heard more stories about the Zulu people. The reptile park was excellent - timed our... More

This is a great park! There is a reptile park (complete with crocs and snakes, and shows for both. You can watch croc feeding, listen to a snake expert and even hold a snake, my 5yr old niece loved it!). In addition to that there is a Zulu village where you can learn about the culture and experience the dancing... More
