Slightly unusual aquarium inside the hulk of an old ship, lots to see and nicely done. The dolphin show is good, and when you are done with the park itself the beachfront promenade is there as well as an arcade of shops and eateries. Good way to spend a day in Durban.

Nice aquatic collection of Indian Ocean marine life. We loved the idea of the ship wreak housing the aquarium.

My wife and I tried to set up a meeting with the functions department over a couple of days during a short visit recently - to arrange for the hosting of a small function. After telephonic discussions, the management totally ignored any follow-up requests. Poor style. Seems to be a standard attitude in Durban

The Aquarium is set in a "wreck " of a ship, quite a good idea. The variety of fish is amazing and the staff genuinally care about them, There is the opportunity for children to ask questions at several exhibts and they can see feeding time with some varitey of fish. There is also the chance to dive with the... More

We took our daughter, her husband and our 4 year old grandson to Sea World Aquarium while at uShaka and I must say I never tire of going there. It is very relaxing and there is a wonderful assortment of various species of fish. It is a pleasure to see the enjoyment on the "little one's" face. Well worth a... More

Take time out to visit this fantastic attraction, which is free once you have paid the park entrance fee. Using a sunken wreck they have created an amazing marine world environment which is unique. A must see don`t rush lots to see and observe.

I like the fact that an old ship was used as the décor for the aquarium. so not only is it fun to look at the different aquatic animals but the décor is well suited for the attraction. Spend about 2 hours here to enjoy each creature.
