I agree...nothing special! I would not have paid more than I did to see what we saw. If you have not been to other similar attractions, it's a nice break from beach time. But we enjoyed ourselves as it gave us something to do on a cloudy day!

Aquarium has a lot of species, specially good for kids. Other than that, not many shows or activities, shows with animals are ok, but vary fast and happening few times a day.

It was very over the top american in places. It would be good for kids. I would have preferred more educational and factual things. Disappointed the wet n wild side was shut.

This aquarium is one of the best I have seen. I love the way you walk round from one tank to others in a quiet peaceful way. There are benches for those who are content to linger longer and the information boards are educational. Having done scuba diving and seen these creatures in the wild, I can see how well... More

As far as aquariums go, this was a very good one. My husband and I enjoyed our walk around looking at all the beautiful sea creatures in the tanks. The highlight for us was watching a rather plump gentleman shark cage diving. He was most amusing! A great place to spend an hour or two marveling at all the beautiful... More

The aquarium is truly excellent. Great for both adults and children. They have a fantastic array of marine life, and the shipwreck theme of the aquarium is not tacky like it might sound, but a really enjoyable and well executed theme throughout the whole building. The 'Finding Nemo' fish tank, with all the fish found in the fish bowl in... More

This is something South Africans should be truly proud of. What an amazing Aquarium. Such a stunning variety of unusual creatures in child height friendly tanks. Spotlessly clean, well air conditioned and such clever décor. We only went to the Aquarium but it was worth the money. We were also lucky to be their in low season as we had... More
