I have always liked the Botanical Gardens, great place to have a picnic and spend the day outdoors, without spending lots of money.

Beautiful and quiet. Amazing and huge garden which is well signed and informative. It is well kept and tranquil, love the amphitheater and the rolling green hills. Its an awesome place to take some time out or just relax and picnic with friends or a special loved on, and it is free to enter.

Luckily in Durban, we have beautiful weather all year. Weather is the only thing that could potentially make you not enjoy our lovely Botanical Gardens. Even have a baobab!

Beautiful botanical garden with unusual specimens. Take the guided driving tour (30 or 60 minute options) -- our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and told us a lot about the gardens and the plants. We then wandered about for a couple of hours on our own by foot and thoroughly enjoyed it .

Calming to all those jumpy nerves and a good place to just chill.i did however find it to be a bit under kept but natural... More
