well maintained and well laid out definitely soothing and relaxing lots of flora to be seen this garden is definitely a must visit and please do try the scones in the coffee shop you will not be dissapointed More

Take a blankie a picnic a book - whether you are alone, in love or with the family - its tranquil and beautiful - except when there is music by the lake - let your hair and spend the afternoon relaxing whether it's classical, pop or rock it's always a good way o spend a Sunday! More

See the eco-beehive in the Botanical gardens or go and spend a Sunday afternoon relaxing in these wonderful gardens and listen to some superb music like Johnny Clegg and Jaluka More

If you are a flower and garden lover then this is the place to vist. When tired and in need a a rest just pop into the botanical gardens tearoom for a good refreshing top up and some delicious scones and crumpets served by valunteers from around Durban. More

We were there as it opened. Very few people around. Small enough to do in a few hours, but you could spend all day there too. Free entry. Plenty of parking. More

Tranquil, well-kept and a breath of fresh air in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Love the tea garden with their man-sized scones and crumpets that are affordable and scrumptious. Music in the gardens are well-organised and something that the Durban crowds are doing right by supporting. We're missing out on some of the big acts coming to SA... More

If you want to just relax and take in a bit of nature, the Durban Botanical Gardens are really lovely. Lots of beautiful places to walk through full of lush vegetation, beautiful trees and flowers.
