Smalll distillery, great tour and personal attention. Great price winning rum.

We went in on a rainy day early May. We were lucky and were the only ones in at that time. The owner gave us a tour anyway and we had a great conversation between the different... read more

We did this as a quick stop on our way back from a weekend in Laughlin, NV. DDD is not quick stop off of I-40, so plan for a 15 minute drive to the Kingman airport area. The distillery is in a cool building and tasting are $10 but well worth it. The rums overall are very good with the... More

We went in on a rainy day early May. We were lucky and were the only ones in at that time. The owner gave us a tour anyway and we had a great conversation between the different distillery techniques. He is very knowledgeable and is able to explain it to other people as well. On top of the he had... More

We have toured many of the big bourbon distilleries in Kentucky. This is a small family owned rum distillery. It is a two room tour, but easy to ask questions since only a few on a tour. There is a tasting room after the tour. And a great place to pick up a unique gift for friends back home.

Though out of the way, we visited here 48 hours after visiting the tasting room in Cottonwood, AZ. I was driving and so didn't get to really enjoy the tasting in Cottonwood since we'd already seen several wineries and shots of rum/vodka seemed excessive. So this side trip was mine! The tasting room here was much nicer than the one... More

This was a great stop in Kingman. We were driving Route 66 and had stopped overnight. We had time to do this tour and tasting and it was great fun. We love the rum from Kauai so it was fun to try something a little different. The owner is super nice and very fun to talk with. We walked out... More

Small family owned distillery. They specialize in Rum and Vodka. The day we were there they weren't offering tours but we were able to taste their rum and vodka. Nice place to stop, would like to take the tour sometime. There is a charge for the tasting. You can purchase the rum and vodka in various sizes. They also had... More

My wife told me she wanted to go here for the tour and to be honest I was sceptical and that didn't change as we drove through what felt like the middle of the close Kingman Airport. All changed as we walked through the door and was met by the family, immediately this didn't feel like it was going to... More

Spring Break 2015 included a stop at Desert Diamond Distillery on old Rte 66 in Kingman, AZ. It's located near the airport at the edge of town going towards Hackberry about fifteen minutes from the Hwy 40. The owner took us through on an unhurried tour (even though it was close to closing time). We saw the gorgeous copper equipment... More

We visited Desert Diamond Distillery and thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the facilities. It was interesting to see the still and other equipment, and learn more about the process of making great rum and other spirits. I particularly liked the one that included agave, which gave it a unique taste. Our tour guide was informative and passionate about his work.... More
