This place is a must stop when on a cross country (mostly Route 66) trip. All that retro atmosphere for times in which the cruise was the aim itself

A tourist trap for sure, but interesting and no pressure involved. The outside has lots of great photo ops. And if you're looking for souvenirs, you are not likely to be disappointed.

This bizarre store sells a remarkable amount of Route 66 memorabilia as well as having a large amount of old cars, gas pumps etc outside. Worth stopping for a photo if nothing else

No surprises here. Old stuff to look at along Route 66 makes a nice break. Still, just a typical tourist stop. But, hey, if you get this far you may as well stop. We looked a bit, bought a couple of soft drinks, and hit the road again.

The items here were varied but the key items were definitely the convertible out front and the hand gun strapped to his belt :)

What a cool old place. So much history. A bit crowded but that's to be expected when you have a place like this. Very glad we stopped. The owner is a really good gut and his dog adds to the whole hometown attitude. Thanks.

Chock full of stuff saved from the 50's and early 60's. Take time to stroll around. You'll find many items that a gas station would typically have had back then.

We stopped at Hackberry General Store especially to see all the cars lined up in the parking lot. My husband really drooled over the '57 red convertible Corvette at the entrance. The store itself is small and is not well stocked with much new Route 66 memorabilia but has a nice collection of old pictures, If you happen to collect... More

Just a tourist setup with high priced souvenirs. Nothing special about this place except for the history.

This cute attraction of Route 66 is literally by itself on the side of the road. It is actually in the town of Hackberry, not Kingman, AZ. When we approached, a tour bus was leaving, so this is a tourist stop. The store does not have many souvenirs, at least none that stood out in my mind. The place is... More
