Beautiful winding roads through the mountains. Take your time. Stop at Oatman to feed the donkeys and do some light tourist shopping. They sell carrots and feed bricks for $1. Kids will really enjoy!

This is quite possibly my favorite portion of Route 66. It's a beautiful area with great rock formations and desert plants. And if you're really lucky you'll see some of the famous wild donkey's. Coming through the town of Oatman and then the pass with it's photographic vista was inspiring, we did stop for pictures.
