It tells you about the key role of this farm in, probably, south Africa's most historic series of events. Informative and often captivating.

A very interesting and significant museum that places Lillisleaf farm in the context of the broader liberation struggle in South Africa. For those who do not know the farm is where Mandela was holed up before he was eventually captured by the apartheid police leading to the Rovonia trials.

A very informative site hidden in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg, safe and worth a visit. Most locals I have talked to have not visited it which is a pity.

We spent almost five hours at Liliesleaf and enjoyed every minute of our tour. We had a charming guide who really knew her stuff and I would highly recommend taking a guide as they have so much knowledge about how life was for all the Rivonia Trialists at Liliesleaf 50 years ago. Our guide told us so many enthralling stories... More

Very interesting 2 hours at this museum with lots of very interesting facts, well presented and somewhat upsetting. Well worth the 20 Rand (£1) entrance fee and a great place for lunch too.
