Transvaal museum is in the middle of hustle & bustle of Pretoria Midcity. Very educational to take the kids there to see all that the Museum can offer. Set aside at least 3h to view everything without hurry. Museum covers a lot of South African history and culture. Worth the pleasant visit. More

Great venue for Kids and Adults alike. Every Animal is represented, from a huge elephant and baby in the lobby to the big cats, rhinos and usual suspects down to the birds and bugs. A note that the western section of the museum is closed. More
