Having taken my son to Kango caves the Wonder caves was a big disappointment. They are tiny by comparison and very poorly lit. With that said you should take the kids if you can't get to Kango Caves near Outsdhoorn someday. More

Wondercave gives you an idea of how small we are in the greater scheme of things. It is a great outing for families and well-trained guides makes it interesting. It's close to Joburg and lovely to combine with a visit to the Rhino and Lion Park closeby. More

I have visited many of South Africa's cave systems like the Cango Caves, Sterkfontein Caves and Echo Caves. All have similar lighting and scenery.
