South Africa has been on my bucketlist for so long and when I finally experienced it finding out some background on Apartheid was a must. What an emotional experience and this museum helps to see what occured over such a long time. More

This is a must see while in Johannesburg, along with Constitution Hill and Robbens Island in Cape Town. A combination of all 3 is extremely moving and a deep insight into the plague called apartheid that overran this country under some of the most brutal colonial rule any where in the world. I have been to this museum twice so far and each time I have found or read something that I hadn't discovered before. Even though they say you should be able to read all that information in 1 1/2 hours I find that highly unlikely/possible. We could have come here for several hours every day of the week. I'm so glad we didn't skip it, even though we didn't have enough time to really see everything. More
