A nice place to to spend some time. There are number of Hotels in vicinity which are walking distance from mall. Also there is ample choice available for dining in variety of restaurants and cafes. For shopping choice has become limited at the moment due to redevelopment of one of the main areas of mall, but there are still quite... More

Once a very popular place where South Africa's top fashion designers operated from. This place has undergone major refurbishments . It was also the place to take tourists for all their souvenir shopping . The roof top flea market is currently not there , not sure if it will return after the renovations. There are several restaurants and many major... More

I love Rosebank Mall - it's not too big but has just about everything you need. PicknPay, Woolies, Vida... then there's the Zone with the cinemas and funky shops and the new section with lovely restaurants. the Sunday market is a MUST. It is, however, very spread out so if you have difficulty in walking you might find it taxing.

I didn't have much time in johammesburg but did manage to make it to the craft market on Sunday at Rosebank. it was a great place with all sorts of crafts and food as well as an antiques and second hand section. Well worth a few hours.

I love the african craft market, the choice of restaurants and the mall. The craft in the market is high quality, the variety of restaurants is fantastic and the mall has all the big stores (like woolworths) you could want. The Sunday morning outdoor market is highly recommended. This mall is so convenient with the Gautrain station right next to... More

My friend and I had a day to spend in Joburg before we moved on to our next adventure. It was a Sunday and I read in our hotel guide that the Rosebank market was a fun place to find crafts and shop. We ventured that way via Gautrain and found it relatively easily. It was such a fun place... More

A leisurely and enjoyable way to spend a Sunday afternoon with time to stroll around the variety of different craft stalls. Plenty of places to eat and on the street outside local singers and dancers braved the cold in their tribal costumes. They had fun as well as all the onlookers.

Has a good 'craft walk' selling all sorts of African nic-nacs, just outside the parking area/entrance to the mall. We weren't in town on the day they have the rooftop craft market (Sunday I think), but this was more than adequate for our purposes. Found all sorts of good gifts here. Some of the things are made by stall holders... More
