I was at Kwantu for 3 days around 2 weeks ago with two friends. What really made the experience was the staff who all seemed to enjoy their job! Benjamin was very friendly the whole time we were there. Musa, who served us at our meals, Innocence our game driver and Freedom who took us round the Predator Park. It... More

Kwantu certainly delivers 5star service. Amazing game drives, knowledgeable staff and great food. I stayed with some friends at the hotel. Rooms are spacious and bathroom is luxurious. The ambience and the grounds are amazing. Nature at its best..with comfort. Added discounts for SA locals. All foods halaal. For the muslims guests they have prayer facilities and there is also... Had a special trip to Kwantu Game Reserve and Elephant Sanctuary. Its one of those rare places where there is such alot to do in a day that the day ends up feeling 3 days long at bed time. Upon arrival breakfast was promptly served followed by a 2hr game drive, words can't describe the experience of seeing so many... More

Worst 5 star experience in my life. I believe they paid someone off for this rating. The dinning room, lounge was filthy. Th toilets were disgusting. No paper towels, no air dryers. Only a dirty towel. 5 star? The only pleasant thing was the friendly staff. The lack of maintenance was clearly visible from the time we entered to the... More

This was only for the safari-to see the Big 5 and then the elephant interaction, 7 of us, (6 adults and my 3 year old daughter) we arrived the morning around 8:30am, without any reservations, the amazing staff did not even bother to tell us we were supposed to make a reservation, they all welcomed us with so much friendliness,... We visited kwantu for a game drive while on holiday in PE. Was pleasantly surprised at how affordable the amount was considering it's a private reserve. We were welcomed with lovely drinks and what was referred to as a "snack" but was actually a full buffet meal. Proceeded to have a 2.5 hour game drive where we saw 4 of... More

Kwantu always provides excellent service, has knowledgeable guides and has one of the least expensive game drives in the area. The elephant interaction is very unique and definitely recommended.

We went as a group day out form the ship where we work to Kwantu as a day trip and to a man all throughly enjoyed the day. Although it possibly being the coldest, wettest day in South Africa's history,we had a great time on safari, with the rangers being brilliant, funny, welcoming, warm and importantly informative and willing to... We visited Kwantu mainly for the elephants. On arrival we entered a very large building which was nicely decorated and maintained. There was a large restaurant which we were told was no longer in operation. The gift shop was locked up. I was aware that these elephants were not 'wild' and could be ridden but was not prepared for the... More
