After a 10km gravel road we were welcomed by a friendly smile from Matha and prettiest views.Very accommodating and we were treated to welcoming snacks and drinks all fully halal. Grounds are immaculate and prayer facilities are available. I would recommend an overnight stay as apposed to a day trip. Game drive breathtaking as we came face to face with... More

One of the best game reserves for tourists and visitors.Lovely breakfast, lunch and supper. The most interesting game drive lasting 3 hours. There are so many facilities for kids,a swimming pool, gymnasium, hammocks and swings etc.We viewed most of the Animals except the elephants. The breeding camps has bengal tigers, white lions etc.A must see destination for the ardent traveler. There is a first class inn for overnight... Went to Kwantu last week with my parents & boyfriend. We had an amazing safari experience withour guide Denisley - he was such a knowledgeable guide. We saw 5 different lions & Denisley was able to take us really close to two of them, it was incredible!! We also saw a lot of other animals including some brand new baby... More

We reserved this place completely unaware it was strictly Islam. Nice game resort, good accommodations, friendly staff but, a strictly "no drinking" policy... If an Islam place opens to the PUBLIC, the drinking policy should be more open.

Kwantu Game Reserve is a unique game experience situated about an hours drive from Port Elizabeth. It envelopes the historic town of Sidbury and there are many remnants of years gone by. The reserve has a very well maintained fleet of Game Drive vehicles and also offers shuttle services to the airport and harbour. The Rangers are well trained and... More

We had a chance to visit two private game reserves. I also went to Kruger park. Kwantu is not the most exclusive park, but at very reasonable price you can see at three hours mor then I see on three days at Kruger. As at all safaris it is better to stay there and go to early morning tour. That... More

We had a four night stay in the private bungalows(or whatever they called) and it was romantic and amazing i have rated it 4 because the underfloor heating didnt work in the bathroom and we had to keep asking for clean towels and snacks to be replenished, however that was only a small issue food was amazing and staff were... We visited for a day trip and didn't regret it. The guide was knowledgeable and considerate, and put all his efforts to try and find all the animals for us. We were lucky to get to hang out with the females on the lion pride and even got to see the rhynos! The price was much better than most Game... More

I was a bit unsure of this experience when I booked it as previous reviews haven't been great. However, I am so glad I did. Despite the organisation seeming poor and disorganised at first once we got to Kwantu Private Game Reserve everything else was well organised. I spent the first few days helping out around the reserve with chores,... More
