Close encounters with feathered friends that you would otherwise only see from a far distance. Lovely worthwhile visit.

I was screamed at on the top of his lungs and accused of touching a bird cage when I clearly didnt by the guy in charge of the birds on my family outing. This got my mom and my grand mom in tears! It was unacceptable and extremely rude and hurt our experience. Being shouted at and accused ruined not... More

This should be on your to-do list when in Plett. We were entertained for about an hour. A worthwhile outing with community awareness as the main focus. Some great photography opportunities. Kids enjoy it more, and even though the raptors can seem intimidating, the younger kids in the audience thoroughly enjoyed this. Everyone gets the opportunity to interact with the... More

Enjoyed the visit and bird show very much. The bird show was very participative with birds sitting on the visitors while valuable information was shared about the birds and conservation. Ideal for children to learn about birds.

Having one (actually a few) of these wonderful birds sitting on your hand and viewing them up close and personal while learning all about them was just fantastic - and the kids could not stop talking... Learn up close to the birds, chance to get good photos while holding birds in your hand. Just ashamed that the big eagel only fly when the wind is down like early in morning 11:00 clock show the vulture is quite an surprise never new they act this way when getting food.

My son and I stopped by here on our way to Plettenberg Bay. Radical Raptors is a very well run and educational birds of prey sanctuary. Dennis, the owner, uses the birds that cannot be re-release into the wild to teach people the importance of all the birds of prey. The flying display was very well done with so much... More

We stopped for coffee at the Heath which is also very good! Saw the sign waited until it was open only a short while, being so close to a wild bird I have never seen before quite moving - I feel the bird sensed this and was so gentle - very moving for perhaps difference reasons for others.
