Loved this place just arrived as they were about to start, maybe missed one bird and the introduction. The vulture was hilarious screaming and begging for food and charging around like an angry child (apparently in a submissive mode!) It even flew over us as we four lay still on the ground you could feel the wind beneath its wings!... More

Truly enjoyed the feathered stars and enthusiasm of the custodians. Will definitely return with a faster camera. Hard to pick a favourite, but the owl is ahead with a slight margin. Amazing creatures of nature being ambassadors for their kind. Good value for money and time. Chris and Klarissa

The show starts promptly at advertised times. We made it for the 11.00 am show. A falconer demonstrates the power of these incredible birds, using about four different species, including owls. He encourages the birds to sit on the gloved hands of all the spectators at different times during his show, and gently makes a point of getting kids to... More

A visit to Radical Raptors is an absolute must! The interaction that visitors have with the birds is precious and a wonderful experience. The bird handler gives you valuable information while handling the birds and you also get the chance to do so. Please support this very good cause!! It is very well worth a visit!

One of the cheapest outdoor activities to do in plett at R80 entrance per person. We got there early and the bird trainer was more than happy to answer our questions and chat. The actual show was so awesome and he makes sure every person gets a chance to hold a bird. The show is educational and the entire bird... More

Being able to have a beautiful bird sit on my hand and learn about the birds that Dennis has in his display was a great experience. I feel that everyone should and must go see this display of birds. Children will learn a lot. Dennis, thank you so much for making this available to the public.

My hubby and I went to Radical Raptors while in holiday. It was the most interesting, exciting and perfectly arranged experience. Dennis, the owner is an amazing host and clearly knows and loves the birds. It was the most amazing experience!

Always worth a visit... small venue but such a treat. You can stand a meter away from an adult Bataleur and Black Eagle and the flying show is wonderful . A real rehabilitation facility... none of the cheap tourist tricks. Just a wealth of good information and great opportunities to see some wonderful flying. I will not spoil the best... More

To my mind, needlessly expensive, they would have more visitors if it was not so expensive. The only good thing was The Heath Café, great coffee....

5 of us enjoyed an hour or more with Deniis and the Owls and other raptors. The encounters were up close and personal. We all got a chance to hold a spotted eagle owl and barm owl and enjoyed the precision of the jackal buzzard catching a "mouse". We all left feeling that the entrance fee was worth paying. We...
