This was an amazing experience. We were able to interact and hold birds of prey and learn about them. They flew around us and even sat on our hands. It was absolutely amazing and well worth seeing

We were up the coast this weekend for the Knysna half marathon. Despite visiting this part of the world many times we had never been to Radical Raptors as I hadn't seen it before. The moment we stepped in till we left was awesome. It was so much more than we expected and was fascinating. Dennis really gave us a... More

This was a real discovery... Driving out of Plettenberg Bay we took a chance and decided to stop. It was entertaining, engaging and informative. Great fun for the kids and a real photo op for mom and dad. Highly recommended!

The experience is not only fun for children (and adults), but very informative and instills children with a sense of wonder and awe in these magnificent birds. We just love the fact that it is a true rehabilitation centre that benefits our precious local bird species because they Rescue, Rehabilitate and Release them back into the wild. Only those birds... Awesome experience interacting with rehabilitated birds of prey including a Yellowbilled Kite, barn and eagle owl and a black eagle. Dennis was a fountain of information and kept us thoroughly entertained. An admirable cause and one worthy of donations and sponsorship.

We visited this place during our garden route trip. The location is very convenient - just before you reach Plettenberg Bay. The show itself is not very long but the demonstrations are great. The session was also informative and kids would definitely enjoy watching big birds from up close. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves birds.

Loved this place just arrived as they were about to start, maybe missed one bird and the introduction. The vulture was hilarious screaming and begging for food and charging around like an angry child (apparently in a submissive mode!) It even flew over us as we four lay still on the ground you could feel the wind beneath its wings!... More

Truly enjoyed the feathered stars and enthusiasm of the custodians. Will definitely return with a faster camera. Hard to pick a favourite, but the owl is ahead with a slight margin. Amazing creatures of nature being ambassadors for their kind. Good value for money and time. Chris and Klarissa

The show starts promptly at advertised times. We made it for the 11.00 am show. A falconer demonstrates the power of these incredible birds, using about four different species, including owls. He encourages the birds to sit on the gloved hands of all the spectators at different times during his show, and gently makes a point of getting kids to... More
