We passed through Jerome and am glad we stopped! Walked around the little town and stepped into this establishment for a little wine tasting. The staff was incredibly nice and entertaining, and the wines were all delicious. The room is decorated perfectly with the old tin ceiling and rustic walls and bar.

I want to start off by saying my husband is an avid Maynard fan, I listen to whatever my husband puts on his ipod. I planned a trip to Jerome for my husband's 30th birthday. We were there 3/28 through 4/2. After we checked into our hotel (Connor Hotel, see review) which is right next door to Caduceus Cellars we... More

My husband is a big TOOL/Puscifer/APC fan so we've always planned to visit Maynard's winery if we got to AZ. We drove up with his grandparents, and we all had a great time. The wines are all blends which we knew going in, but weren't sure at the moment which flight to do. We all ended up doing the Merkin... More

The winery was pretty cool. Decorated with wood finishes, with a long bar for the servers, tall tables for customers and a couple of bars in the middle for tastings, the place has a clean and modern design. You can visit it to enjoy one of their wine tasting menus, savor a glass of your favorite Caduceus wine or get... More

Came into town at 10AM after driving two-lane road with straight-drop cliffs into the valleys below. Jerome is a pleasant mining town built on the steeps slopes of the Verde Valley. First place I happened to come across was the Caduceus Cellars, offering tastings from several vineyards. Wine tasting? At 10AM? Why not! Medium sized location, rustic interior, plenty of... More

Just returned from Mendoza, Argentina (they do set the bar quite high) all in all I do concur with the TA reviews. The location (old mining town) what a setting!! Romantic, surely to take you back in time & slow one down. Relaxing is not a bad thing, too bad it's a rarity for most of us in this country.... More

Husband and I stopped in here after our trip to Out of Africa. We have been following Maynard and his wine endeavors for some time now and have been waiting for the chance to get up here. Our only complaint was all the hotels in Jerome and nearby in Cottonwood were completely sold out and we couldn't stay the night.... More

Medium sized room, a locals tasting room feel. Nice details to the tasting bar. Small plates of food offered. Staff did not provide wine club or wine info had to ask many questions, too bad. There are 2 wines labels. A 2nd label Merkin these are mostly blends avg price $27. Most of the fruit is sourced from New Mexico... More

The purpose of our trip to Jerome was to visit Caduceus. A huge fan of Maynard's, and wine, it has been at the top of my bucket list for some time. I hadn't ever tried the wine before going so we decided to do it up right and order... both taster trays plus an extra sample of the Naga (not... More

The staff was awesome! The wine was great. My favorite was Anubis. A friend and I went in late Oct 2013 (bring a jacket/scarf). The store itself does not ship wine, but you can order bottles from the website in warmer weather. The store offers a nice selection of items to purchase as souvenirs for the peeps back home. I...
