After a long and painful ride by bus, we arrived at the Skywalk. I understand that it is a breakthrough in the technology and that the owner/investors are desperately waiting on their return on investment, however, banned any sort of photo devices on the site is outrageous. In addition, staff member with their cameras are so focus on taking pictures... More

This is simply great and a must do if you are in the area. The skywalk is not the best part about the west rim but it's worth it in my opinion. I had fun walking on the skywalk and it's worth the cost. I don't need a picture. Make sure that you take the hike down guano point while... More

We'd booked on the plane, helicopter and boat trip. Due to the heat the helicopter and boat was cancelled so we were taken to the Skywalk. We had to check in our own cameras as they were not allowed to take them on the walk. First thing you get to on the walk is an official photographer who want to... More

I read several negative reviews about the reservation and the skywalk experience, but we only had one day. We decided we did not want to spend 12 hours on a tour bus going to the south rim so the two hour trip to the west rim and the reservation seemed the best choice. I rented a car and we struck... Even though u couldn't take any pics, the photographers took amazing shots at me lying on the glass, posing...... The view was good and the price for the photos were reasonable aswell. Even though it was a bit pricy, it's worth a visit though.

Couldn't wait to try out the skywalk and purposely took the more expensive West rim tour to ensure we could. Was very disappointed to find that despite the expensive cost of a couple of minutes on the skywalk. Tickets were I think $35 per person but you weren't allowed to have anything with you that would allow you to take... More

We traveled here from Vegas in van from grand-adventures.com. The drive is approximately 2.5 hours from the Las Vegas Boulevard. This spot offers a spectacular view of the eagle shaped rock formation. The skywalk itself is pretty stunning as you could see the hundreds of feet deep canyon under your feet. It's a unique experience just for the Skywalk and... More

Awesome in every sense of the word and worth it. It was fun to lie down and stare at the canyon through the glass. I felt no pressure at all to buy the pictures and in fact went in saying I wouldn't. I changed my mind and the picture is great- it reminds me that there are bigger things in... More

Definitely don't let the bad reviews put you off going to the Grand Canyon West Rim. Just beside the Skywalk you get the most magnificent views. Breathtaking. After reading some rather average reviews I nearly didn't go. Stopped at Hoover Dam on the way and stayed at the Grand Canyon til sunset. We saved our dollars and paid only the... More

I have seen on TV.. "How it was made" great technology. Waste of money if you can't take pictures. I prefer to spend more time @ North Rim then here. 60 mile drive was very very long.
