Interesting to see the west rim of the Canyon . But the skywalk is overplayed . The drive is fantastic , through old route 66 .

The Skywalk experience is worth a detour to view this side of the Grand Canyon. The rock formations are very different and it is not as deep as the South Rim, but it is also beautiful. It is a little expensive, and we did not like having to take the shuttle everywhere (we just stayed on the shuttle and did... More

We drove here from Vegas, which I thought was a very nice drive and it took us about 2 1/2 hours of drive time each way. A bonus is that you can stop and see the Hoover dam on the way. On this reservation, you cannot drive your car directly to the skywalk or Grand Canyon. Once you get to... More

This was my first time to the Grand Canyon and it is one of the rare sights in this world that completely exceeds your expectations (well, mine at least ;) But if you do happen to go on the west side I absolutely recommend going on the skywalk... It gives you a panoramic and beautiful view of the incredible canyon... More

We visited the west rim of the canyon on the first leg of our road trip and thoroughly enjoyed it. Views are spectacular, shuttle buses run all the time so you can spend as much time as you want on the skywalk and you can grab something to eat as well

We were staying in las vegas and decided to hire a car and visit the grand canyon sky walk. Approximately 100 miles drive , we arrived with great excitement and was hugely disappointed. We were ushered into a large car park and told to go to the main reception , the entrance fee for the skywalk was $65 each !... More

Although a very beautiful view the effect of standing on the glass was taken away by a professional photographer moving you on and taking up most of the good space. You aren't allowed to use your own camera which is a shame. The pics they provide are 20$ for a staged shot. Very expensive, we were disappointed. A few miles... More

This was a dream come true, to see the Grand Canyon and to be able to walk out over it. The total experience was worth the effort and travel to get there

Crazy engineering glass floor cantilevered over the canyon face. On the bus tour. Today is a gorgeous day bright sun and only occasional wind
