We attended this venue, now called Gila River Arena, a large multi-purpose arena to watch the NHL Arizona Coyotes play against the Colorado Avalanche. What a great game! Very interactive with the fans too! But the facility had a few drawbacks: very crowded, tight seats, long lines to everything including the washrooms....guess you have to love being a 'sardine' for... More

Like a couple of other reviewers, we went for the Coyotes/Bruins game last week and had a very enjoyable time. Excellent arena surrounded by well planned entertainment center with many good bars and restaurants. Easy access from the 101. YES, the BRUINS WON !

There are many positives to this venue. I like the number of Restaurants and the movie theatre on the property. I have been three times and there is very little traffic leaving the arena as many of the fans stay for dinner. The sightlines in the arena are excellent and you can purchase great seats for prices under $100. You... More

Went to see the Boston Bruins vs. The Phoenix Coyotes. Bruins of course won! Boston Strong! Great venue. However the ushers should monitor tickets and seating better. Many people without tickets in the front section were we were kept hopping around from seat to seat because they did not buy those seats but wanted a better seat. When the people... More

Glia River Arena is an awesome place to watch a hockey game or concert. Great sound system and numerous choices for food and drink. You will have a great time! The arena sits right in the middle of the entertainment district. Plenty to do.

This venue by the way, is now known as Gila River Casino Arena. The place is conveniently located just off Loop 101 /Glendale Ave. in Glendale, AZ. It is also located next to a vibrant entertainment district with a plethora of eating establishments and shops. The arena, which is a multi-story facility, has a wide variety of eating and drinking... More

Gila River Arena is the best arena in Arizona for sports and concerts, bar none. Hockey is the sport at the arena, there are NO bad seats for Arizona Coyotes games. For concerts, the acoustics make every event better than the comparable size arena downtown Phoenix. The difference is noticeable and it isn't even close. The concessions have improved markedly... Coyotes game was great and the seating perfect. Not that cold either inside the arena. Lots to choose from to eat and drink outside the arena.

With 82 Coyotes home games a season, I find myself down at this Glendale arena as much as any other place in town. That's not a bad thing! Seating is comfortable, viewing is impressive, vendors are quick and polite. The restrooms are ample as well, even for the ladies! We have seen our share of concerts in this venue as... More
