Well in Arizona in August at a outside concert venue, lawn seating, it was pretty hot and shoulder to shoulder people. The lawn seating area holds 12,000 folks and let me tell you there had to be at least 10,000 just in that area. The covered seat area holds 7,000 and it was packed also. Nice big place. They had... If you want to see a hockey game while visiting Phoenix, you will not be disappointed by the venue. We have been season-ticket holders for several years. Tickets are very inexpensive compared to other NHL venues where we have paid substantially more. Even the seats in the upper level are quite good.

So interesting - I attended a concert at this arena in the spring, where our seats were partial view, because of the arrangement of the stage. The partial view had not been disclosed when I purchased the tickets - in fact, I chose more expensive tickets to be closer to the stage for a better view. Apparently there was a... More

Former Coyotes season ticket holder. I went to a game this year with my wife and another couple. It was a great time. The arena is a very good arena, it is just unfortunate that the arena is in Glendale. It is out of the way and the traffic flow is not very good.

Great venue. Have been to hockey games and a concert there, and experience was excellent for both. Surrounded by numerous restaurants, on same campus as University of Phoenix Stadium.

Following the Montreal Canadiens on their 2014/15 West Coast road trip landed me in Glendale for the final game of the trip. Although the arena is a fair way from downtown Phoenix and even further from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, it was well worth a visit. Located next to a quite a few stores and places to eat, the... Thanks to my girlfriend setting up a road trip for a group of us Anaheim Ducks fans, I got to see our team take on the Arizona Coyotes at Gila River Arena at the very end of the regular 2014-15 hockey season. The Gila River Arena is a very nice, modern hockey and concert venue that anchors the south end... More
