The Gila River Arena is a fine venue to watch the Arizona Coyotes face their NHL opponents I found the sight lines excellent and fan friendly. The concession stands are pricey, but still a bit lower than most NHL facilities. The restrooms are always clean and easily available. The arena is adjacent to Westgate Mall which often has music, events,... More

I have been to many hockey games in different arenas and never been as cold as I was at the Gila River Arena. By the end of the 1st period my feet were so frozen that they were hurting. I understand that it is a ice hockey arena but it really does not need to be that cold. The Air... More

This is a very nice arena. We bought a Coyotes six game pack. We are in the 100 level seats and are enjoying every game. There is lots of entertainment going on during lulls in the games. Lots of give a ways which gets the younger fans excited and jumping around. The bathrooms are clean and there is lots of... More

Great view from every seat! However, it gets a little steep in the upper level; I'm sure this helps viewing so just make sure you hold on to the rails, ha!

Excellent design with only a few problems with exit crowding. Seating designed for hockey and concerts..no obstructed views. If sitting high up for hockey dress warmly as the cooling vents are directly overhead. The lower sections are more comfortable, but the ability to track the game is more difficult. Still a great place to see hockey, and at a reasonable... More

My wife and I went to see the San Jose Sharks play the Arizona Coyotes. It was a nice experience. We parked a ways from the rink because parking is $25-$30. It was a beautiful day and the walk was nice. Once we got inside we were presented with a Shane Doan bobble head which was not expected. We also... More

Phoenix Coyotes celebrated Shane Doan for being the NHL league leader in points (380). What a celebration, What a great arena, What a great audience, What a great great venue! Food! Seating! Shopping! Location! Parking! Everything you could ask for is within easy reach! Just make sure you dress warmly! It is VERY cold in there!

We recently attended a Coyotes NHL game at the Arena. This was our first NHL experience. We had a great time. We had great seats on the lower level and the sight lines were really good! Expect to pay arena prices for beer and food. We arrived really early (4:30 PM) for the 7PM game and parked in a lot... More

Even if you are not a huge hockey fan, this is a great event to take the whole family. Great service, and good fun ! Food is pricey, but that is usually the norm for events. There are numerous options available to satisfy most people. During one of our visits to a hockey game, there was confusion over our seats.... More
