Christmas was in high season the people were all in great spirits. Made everything so fun. The claim to fame in Glendale is the home made snow and snowball fights. Funny since we came from Minnesota. We weren't missing the snow.

Winter time has some 2.5 million lights in a few block are of downtown for Glendale Glitters Holiday of lights. Wear comfortable walking shoes and there's plenty of neat foods for all different appetites.

Open Air Market and Art Fair was great! The weather cooperated spectacularly! The mood was that of a street venue in Paris, France. Don't miss next years event!

An awesome way to spend several hours when the weather is nice. With hundreds of small shops ranging from Antiques to Comic Books to Small Family Restaurants, Old Town Glendale offers something for everyone. If you are looking for a place that transports you back to a simpler time, this is the feel you get from historic downtown Glendale. From the shops and restaurants, to the events that go on year round, there is always the old home feel of the 50's to be appreciated.

The historic district is a unique area with several quaint restaurants and shops to browse through. Most of the shops and restaurants are in homes that were once residences.
