I play all over the country, and this is still a throwback favorite of mine. The course is challenging and in beautiful shape, the staff is professional and always friendly, and the views are fantastic. I always come back and play both courses.

Played both courses. Cholla first. Tight target golf. Bring a few extra balls. Good greens well kept. Saguaro: Much more open but choose your tee boxes carefully. We played 6600 yards and we were constantly challenged on our approach shots (long). Greens were tough but very true. Staff we excellent, food was good. For the price I would play it... More

Played in 20-4 and gave it a second try in March 2015 ($230 plus 9% tax per player) Was recommended as one of the best but I cannot see why. Condition was good and layouts ordinary15 miles from Scottsdale Many better courses Try Grayhawk or Troon North, both are superior Buy a Troon card if playing 4 rounds. The card... More

A great place to visit for all your golfing needs; combine this with the friendly resort staff and tasty food it makes for a great day of golfing. Also be sure to visit the casino located on the grounds , a great place to gamble and eat .

Played the Cholla course this time-it is beautiful but pretty tough course. Lots of carry, target golf challenges and greens are hard to read. If you like a challenge, it is worth t he drive out from Scottsdale. Has a decent pro shop, pretty good food, beverage service on course, but no GPS on carts. There is a casino nearby but... More

You want see a single home [except in the far distance] when you are playing golf at Wee-Ko-Pa. It is a pristine golf experience. The only thing keeping it from being a true world-class golf experience is the absence of caddies. Somehow, riding on a cart through the Sonoran Desert isn't exactly "golf as it is meant to be." That... More

Upon arrival at We-Ko/Pa you can't help but notice all the staff finely organized. The range was probably the nicest conditioned range I have ever played in. We started our double play day as the first group out at 7:40am on the Cholla course. The first few holes were breath taking , as is most of the course but being... More

Lucky to stay and play in Scottsdale in February and we make We Ko Pa our home for a few days. The clubhouse staff are superb including in the shop, the bag drop guys, the cart girls and the marshals. No need to have breakfast before you get there as the breakfast menu is varied and great value - quality... More

Location is in gorgeous hilly topography----desert in nature, yet dynamic views of the phoenix city area. We played "Cholla"---classic desert presentation and as good as anything in the Scottsdale vicinity. Challenging but not impossible if you play your proper handicap tees. Course was well groomed and in great condition. Staff reception was friendly and immediate. Pro-shop very well equipped. After... More

Challenging Desert course. You need to plan for wind; it was cool. Keep to the fairways as much as you can (pretty much standard with most desert courses). The drive is bit out of the way, but you will enjoy it.
