The fountain in Fountain Hills was the tallest in the world for ten years after it was built. It is turned on every hour (on the hour) for fifteen minutes, reaching a height over 300 feet. It is capable of going to over 560 feet, but they don't usually turn on the third pump. The fountain is surrounded by a... More

This fountain is beautiful and goes off on the hour during the day. It is a great place for a nice long walk.

Check it out. There is a nice park and some cute shops nearby. I do not think it is worth a special trip, but if you are in the area stop over

We've lived in AZ for 40+ years and have seen the fountain from a distance hundreds of times. We love it when we're on the Beeline Highway and catch a glimpse of the fountain high in the sky; it's visible for miles. But last year was the first time we travelled to the park to see it "go off". It... More

What's to review. The Fountain has certain specs that make it better than other Fountains but at the end of the day, it's a Fountain. It certainy adds to the scenic views in Fountain Hills but hey, not to be repetitive, it's a fountain!

The Fountain goes off for about fifteen minutes every hour. It can be seen from our RV Park, over seven miles away. The park around the Fountain is nice with several interesting sculptures. Nice to go when the street fairs are on - lots of interesting vendors.

A great place to take the family. Constant photo-ops as the fountain goes off every hour-on-the-hour for 15 minutes. There are several excellent shops and restaurants.

We were unaware of the fountain when we visited the area. We were on a tour in the McDowell mountains and the guide pointed out the fountain going off in the distance. So a side trip was added to our agenda and it didn't disappoint. It is a man made fountain formerly the largest but now one of the 5... More

Fountain Hills is a quaint little town. Rolling hills and nice views of Four Peaks mountain, Red Rock and the fountain of course. This is no ordinary fountain. It is HUGE. The park surrounding the fountain is very pleasant as well.

It is a nice and quiet place. The fountain is one of the highest fountains. If you would like to spend some quiet time, this is a good place to visit.
