This little gem is situated by the neighboring the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and Scottsdale, AZ. The little town is a thriving community. We loved the small town vibe and artistic landscape. As you enter the City of Fountain Hills you will see the beautiful landscape of mountains, cactus and serious Arizona beauty. The homes... More

The Fountain is the main visual attraction in Fountain Hills. Every hour on the hour, the 100ft. fountain is visible all across the valley. The park is a great place to bring kids or to take a stroll around the lake. Typically, the fountain is up for 12 minutes each hour, but that time may be cut short in high... More

It's interesting. It took me a while to figure out that it goes off every hour for 15 minutes. So it's all in the timing. Quaint downtown area to walk around. Nice scenic city with mountains in the background.

Beautiful park. The kids really loved the water park. They spent a couple of hours playing in the water.

Apparently even the slightest breeze makes this fountain decide not to display. Tried a few times a day for 5 days and very disappointed that it did not appear to perform. Not much else to do in Fountain Hills, most of the shops are not open due to the roadwork in progress. Just don't make a special trip to see... More

The Fountain goes off every 1/2 hour. While you wait, take a walk on the clean and wide trail in the pretty surrounding park. Take time to check out the lovely sculpture.

This goes off on the hour every hour from 9 am to 9 pm. Shoots about 200 ft into the air. Runs about 15 minutes. There is a great playground near the fountain that younger children will love.
