Great challenge and in great shape. Take advantage of the twilight rates and the fool is also terrific.

Just returned from a Phoenix golf trip with 3 other buds. We stayed at The Inn @ Eagle Mtn, which I reviewed back in November. It is a GREAT place to stay, and we played The Eagle Mtn course on our 2nd day. As it was last year, it is one of our favorites in the area. The elevation changes... More

We got married there almost two years ago and it truly is a gem. All of the staff are remarkable and provided excellent customer service. Food is good and they have an excellent view from the top of the hill.

I'm and 8 handicap. The course was in very good condition. We played at 8am and had a cool breeze for the first four holes (wind jackets used). But it warmed up nice and it was shorts and shirt sleeves the rest of the day. The fairways and ruff were in good shape. There are houses surrounding the course but... More

Worth a visit -- even if you are staying in Scottsdale. Dine on the terrace for a sweeping views of the golf course, VERY close-in McDowell mountains and friendly service without pretentiousness.

We were with a group of six and went to the buffet. The service was good but food was marginal. Drinks were good as well.

Fairways are in very bad condition. On many fairways, the rough is non-existant due to golf carts. The rough is like hitting your golf ball off the cart path. Houses are everywhere and much too close with signs reminding you that if you hit an errand shot you are responsible for damages. A couple of nice scenic holes(but with houses... More

Went to play golf, but it turned into a scenic journey, combined with a nature trek. The course itself is excellent, well maintained, and full of character. The fairways are friendly, and the greens are well paced. The views are simply breathtaking. Every hole is different. Mountain, city, water, it has the lot. Then the wildlife. I was playing with...
