Stopped in for a tasting and was greeted by the winery's friendly terrier dog Kiva. The tasting room is really an industrial building housing all the goods to make wine. It is spacious clean and well lit. We were hosted by wine-makers wife Lisa and had a excellent tasting. There is a good variety of wine Varietals, tasty Zinfandel,Syrah,Tempranillo,Petit Verdot,Graciano... More

The wines were overall well done. There was a similar taste in all of the wines that was a little distracting, not sure what it was. A little over priced. Friendly gal behind the bar.

There was variation between the wines, but we did find a favorite: Claire's- 67% Mourvèdre and 33% Cab. Mourvèdre being a recently found favorite.

We recently visited the Callaghan Vinyards in Southern AZ and had the opportunity to walk the vineyard with wine maker Kent Callaghan and observe how he grafts different varietals on their vines. It was an amazing educational experience and compliment to the great high quality wines we sampled in the charming tasting room. Kent's passion for his craft is inspiring.... More

The views...the wine...I always want to camp out on the patio for long periods of time whenever I visit Callaghan Vineyards. This is one of the most charming estates in Southern Arizona wine country, as well as some of the state's highest quality wines. Don't rush your visit, take time to relax, sip your way through the selection, and enjoy... More

Loved the setting for this winery; beautiful views. Loved the whites - bought Lisa's and a good red Padres. Dog friendly. Knowledgeable help and service! Also loved the quilts for sale - nice addition to the tasting room. Will visit again on our next tour!

What a surprise for us California's. It was a bit of drive but the scenery was wonderful. We went on a Sunday as the wineries are only open Wed. - Sunday. When we drove up we were surprised to find so many cars. It was busy, small wineries, although they were very friendly. We really enjoyed the day

If you read past reviews about Callaghan's wine tasting facility being rustic, you should have seen it six months ago. Great improvements have taken place inside and out, according to my daughter who brought me here. She and her husband came back because of the wine, and were happy to see the improvements. I was impressed by the wine and... More
