One of the other guests said that this was the oldest of the Elgin wineries- not sure if that is true but it was very nice to be able to sit outside and visit while we sipped our wine.

As a person with a less sophisticated pallet, I was not sure what to try, they took the time to help me pick different types of wines and I even found a" red" I loved in Padre. It's really nice that despite it being incredibly crowded, they educated us on their wines, and made sure we were happy and trying... More

The experience was just fine. Didn't care for the wines unfortunately. The price was reasonable and the staff attentive and knowledgable.

We visited Callaghan this past weekend once for a tasting and a second time for the blending seminar. What a blast! Kent was very helpful, and went out of his way to explain the origins of the new grapes we were blending from, and he listened intently to everybody's feedback when the blending was complete. It was a super fun... More

I went with a couple friends and was surprised! Arizona has great wines. We started here, with their awesome big glasses! They were very helpful and guided all of us so that we all could taste the wines of our liking. I was the BIG red guy and loved the Tempranillo! so good! Loved this place and talking to the... More

We loved our visit here! Owner, Kent Callaghan, was wrapping up the harvest and was pressing in the back. We were the only visitors at that time, so he took us through the whole process! Then we picked our wines, tasted several and bought a mixed case of Backlot, Lisa's and Claire's. I liked the wines so much, I ordered... More

This was a very small winery. The staff member was not very nice and made you feel like you were putting her out by coming to a tasting. There was a candle burning to cover the smell of the winery but there shouldn't be a candle burning when trying wines, it throws off your senses. We were not happy with... More

None of the wines really wowed us and after visiting several other wineries in the area this one was definitely not out favorite. Also wished they weren't burning a candle so we could have better smelled our wine. The person behind the bar was extremely kind and helpful though.

We love stopping in here- great staff and great wines. I usually find that I like most of what they have to offer. Their tasting flights are 5$ (10$ if you need a glass) which includes 5 pours. I'm not a massive port fan, but their Red Dessert Wine 2009 was a huge hit with my friends. Pairs nicely with... More

This was a great winery in Sonoita/Elgin area in Southern Arizona! Use your glass from other wineries (or buy one with your tasting) and you get a discount at all wineries in the area!
