The AZ Balloon Works company was WONDERFUL! They placed safety in mind. They had highly experienced pilots. We are from the midwest, so we appreciated learning about the different desert landscape plants (and animals). Our pilot was knowledgeable about dessert landscape and regions we flew over. He even gave details of stories of landowners below and winery estate. He tells... More

I won this balloon ride at an auction in Ohio. The staff was courteous and friendly from the moment I scheduled our flight. It does start early - lift off at 6AM. We were picked up in Sedona by Junior and driven to our launch site. Don was our pilot and he was a hoot! Beautiful scenery and our balloon... More

Incredible trip! Everyone was so nice. Don nailed an excellent landing. He was so funny too! Cheaper than other area balloon companies. Had sparkling white wine and breakfast aftwards. Would highly recommend!

For us we had a great time. I do not understand why others did not have fun? We had a great time. We got there just before sunrise and the staff was getting the balloon ready for flight. The driver, a wounded vet, was funny and accommodating. The pilot was knowledgeable and it was a pleasure flying with him. He... More

You do have to get up in the morning early but that's with any balloon ride I guess. We all piled into a van and then took a 1 hour drive out somewhere south of Cottonwood. When we got there the balloons were getting filled and ready. There were two balloons and our group was split between the two. Most... More

My boyfriend and I went for our 6 month and it was not what we had expected at all. The crew was nice but the pilot was rude and inappropriate, talking about Vegas, drinking and chlamydia...Really?? Not to mention this was with several elderly people on the flight. The most disappointing thing however was the view. They advertise as it... More

Thoroughly enjoyable! Our pilot, Don was very knowledgeable. The view was terrific! We had a safe trip. Kudos to the ground crew! Nice job to all.

I recently had a balloon flight with Arizona Balloon Works which has been on my bucket list for some time and i am thrilled that i did,...it was absolutely fantastic! Our pilot (Don Graham) even performed a water touch down, a "splash and dash", then with a blast of propane we again headed toward the heavens to look at the... More

I have to agree with the majority of the reviews. We thought we would be flying over the beautiful red rocks of Sedona but instead were treated to a trip over dust, desert and highways. Absolutely nothing to see. The pilot also initially tried to land us in a petroleum company parking lot...really??!! Bought this as a Father's Day gift... More

I will make this short. I rode with this shabby operation in 2006. Long story short, we bounced off roofs and power lines of a local trailer park only to land in their neighborhood. Upon landing, the owner showed up in his van and saw the balloon deflating and jumped out of his moving vehicle to save it. Van rammed... More
