We always find a winery or tasting room when we travel, and this is one of our favorite. They have numerous wine options, and we liked 95% of their options. The room is a good size, and they have fun games for everyone to play. I highly recommend a pop in while you are in town.

I am no expert on wine, but I know when I like something! I had Red Flight Z and they were all delicious. The waiter who served us was knowledgeable, friendly and had a great sense of humour. I highly recommend stopping in. Also, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting which sets it apart from some of the other more... More

We visited Cottonwood on our way to Sedona. The Old Town itself is not much, but Stronghold is a great place to stop. Wonderful wines, cool vibe, amazing and knowledgeable staff. Wines are a bit pricey, but to be frank they are worth the price. This place is a must stop, especially if "Jesus" is your server!

The day was rainy, and so what else to do but check out some wineries in the area. Another winery, Page Springs, recommended this place to us. Cute place, nice cheese plate and very good reds. We walked out with a few of their reds to pack in our suitcase to enjoy later! Still surprised at how nice many of... More

I had head great things about Verde Valley wine so we decided to stop in on our way through town. The atmosphere was very chill. We found ourselves a seat on the couch by the window. I had a red wine flight. Generally the wines are lighter bodied reds, which are not really my taste. We did share a cheese... More

One of our favorite Arizona wines, along with Page Springs Cellars. Great tasting room, with highly acknowledged and very friendly staff. We were not sure what to try this time, thus we went with their recommendations, needles to say, we left with no less than 6 bottles of wine. For sure we’ll stop again on our next trip 89A. Keep... Have try 3 other winery in the Verde Valley. Found this one to have the best. I try the white flight, liked all of them. Other winery only found one I liked at Page Springs Cellars. My friend had the white & red combo, and liked them all. They sever appetizer, but would stay with the cheese plate. Staff is very... More

This seems to be a combined tasting room and wine bar. You can choose between tasting or enjoying wine by the glass. Cheese plates are available as well. We arrived at the noon opening time. Within 15 - 20 minutes, though, the place was busy -- on a Tuesday in the off-season! We were there to taste and to choose... More

A great spot to do a tasting, or just buy a glass of wine, and sit out on the patio enjoying live music. Very friendly, non snobby, and helpful, they can help guide you through their wines to help you find some you really enjoy. Nice location, room to relax, and a comfortable atmosphere. Of course as one of the... More

Of the tasting rooms we visited in old town Cottonwood, this was the funkiest and most relaxed. You don't have to stand at a counter while tasting, you can sit on the sofa and they will bring the tastes to you! They also have games you can play (Jenga, connect 4, cards). We really enjoyed the wines, and took one... More
