Fun little shops

There were many fun little shops in Cottonwood. We killed about an hour and a half here while driving from Jerome back to Sedona, and it was a very fun stop.

My friend and i recently visited "Old Town" and were pleasantly surprised by all the nice shops and good selection of restaurants! And the people were so friendly! As the saying goes.."good things come in small packages!"

A small venue with excellent artists throughout the year. We attended a Winter Solstice performance by the "Wilde Boys" and found that many more international artists were planned for 2014.

This is the original downtown of Cottonwood. City Hall and some public building are still located here. It has a mixture of some of best restaurants in Cottonwood, fourteen last count in about a six block area One of these is Bing's Burger located in a old service station and has the atmosphere of a old fashion soda shop. Their... More

Many of the tourist brochures recommend a visit to Old Town Cottonwood. However, if you are staying in Phoenix or Scottsdale and take the two hour drive you may be disappointed. The town is quaint and charming but there is really very little to see. There are a handful of shops - none of which you won't find in any... More

We live near a small tourist oriented town and understand what to expect in terms of gift and trinket shops. This town is similar with a several block long old town. The "finds" were not so much the tasting rooms for the various local wineries, but rather the great little bread bakery and clock shop. Nothing like hot bread baking... More

Town is interesting to walk around for a few hours. Shop keeps friendly. Just not much to keep you there after a quick stroll.

We have lived in Cottonwood for 13 years and the chages to Old Town Cottonwood are amazing. They now have several first class restaurants a wonderful yet small hotel and several of the wine growers in our area have opened wine tasting stores for their products plus a very nice Olive Oil store with a nice selection of oils. Plus... More

Not the big widely-spaced malls so common in US towns. Many smaller shops and bars. Especially atmospheric on Halloween evening.

I've watched many businesses come and go in Old Town. But as time passes, more and more solid, unique and budget friendly entrepreneurs have established loyal followings. Many regional vineyards, craftsmen and emporiums have added a great feeling of charm and class and hospitality to the street.... A great place to shop and explore and indulge....
