I played several rounds at this course while staying at the adjacent timeshare resort. It really is a magnificent course and at this time of year was excellent value for money. I played after the 4pm watershed but still managed to get in 18 holes as the course was almost empty. They rented me a set of Ping clubs which... More

Since I am not the greatest golfer but love the beauty of most golf courses, I have chosen this course as one of the best all around Phoenix golf experiences. We have played may area courses and have found them very challenging and intimidating to those Mid Westerners who have a "second chance" from our hometown courses. The desert is... More

This is one of the most beautiful golf courses I have ever played on. The change in altitude across the course makes for great views from different perspectives. The golf shop has tons of great golf clothes and accessories. The service is great. Plan to have a meal at Tonto Bar and Grill which is on the course.

OK, if you're a three handicap golfer who takes your game real seriously (and if you're not on TV on Sunday's I don't see why you should) this might be considered too easy for you. Otherwise the scenery is outstanding, the course fun, and for the money it's probably the best place to golf in the North Scottsdale/Carefree/Cave Creek area.

Don't let the short distance fool you - this is a difficult course. We went on vacation with my son and wife - and fortunately we were not paired up with a 4th single. As long as you are prepared to lose a lot of balls - you will have a great time - great views - friendly staff and... More

One fantastic golfing experience and well worth the drive up to Carefree. Spectacular views, well kept course and playable by all.

I only play Summer golf since I live in Arizona so I base my golf reviews on summer rates which are more tolerable than Fall through Spring. Rancho Manana is picturesque. I enjoy golf courses that come with a view. Too many courses in the Metro area are within neighborhoods so the view starts getting redundant. Just like other reviewers,... More

The course was in excellent shape and had some great desert views. It was somewhat short but still challenging. The starter was very friendly. Had a nice selection of souvenirs in the pro shop. Pace was just right.

This course was realy a disapointment, i was expecting a decent desert course and what i had was an enlarged coyote trail. The design ma de on sense for golfer. Way too short , i used my driver in only 3 holes and got in trouble be cause it was too crooked. I had to use irons on a lot... More

The front nine in particular was specular. Changes in elevations and vistas were remarkable. The course was challenging but fair, and well maintained. One of our top 3 in the Scottsdale area.
