Don't let the short distance fool you - this is a difficult course. We went on vacation with my son and wife - and fortunately we were not paired up with a 4th single. As long as you are prepared to lose a lot of balls - you will have a great time - great views - friendly staff and... More

One fantastic golfing experience and well worth the drive up to Carefree. Spectacular views, well kept course and playable by all.

I only play Summer golf since I live in Arizona so I base my golf reviews on summer rates which are more tolerable than Fall through Spring. Rancho Manana is picturesque. I enjoy golf courses that come with a view. Too many courses in the Metro area are within neighborhoods so the view starts getting redundant. Just like other reviewers,... More

The course was in excellent shape and had some great desert views. It was somewhat short but still challenging. The starter was very friendly. Had a nice selection of souvenirs in the pro shop. Pace was just right.

This course was realy a disapointment, i was expecting a decent desert course and what i had was an enlarged coyote trail. The design ma de on sense for golfer. Way too short , i used my driver in only 3 holes and got in trouble be cause it was too crooked. I had to use irons on a lot... More

The front nine in particular was specular. Changes in elevations and vistas were remarkable. The course was challenging but fair, and well maintained. One of our top 3 in the Scottsdale area.

My dad and I played this course and it was my favorite on our trip. It was a difficult course with amazing views. I lost a lot of golf balls so bring lots lol. We found out near the end that our playing partner was one of the owners of the club, very nice lady. Had a great time here,... More

Played the course while on vacation. The staff wasn't very friendly, to the point they were bothered with non members. Course is decent but on the short side. Rate of play was decent 4.5 hour round.

To start out, if you have a tee time here during the winter, you should be aware they frequently have frost delays. We showed up at 1130 for our 100 tee times, and were told we would tee off between 200 and 220 due to frost delay. Very disappointing. However, they reduced the rate from 80 per person to 50... More

Our home is on a golf course in Carefree, to old and stuffy for our taste (the golf course, not the house) Played Rancho a couple times and decided the staff was super and very accommodating. The course challenging, the views are..... well see for yourself! Play here. We now have been members for almost a year.
