We played this course twice. Once from the back tees and we learned the hard way....second time we played from the club tees and while it played much easier, we all enjoyed our golf so much more.

The South Course at the Boulders is a great desert golf experience. Nice practice area, including a separate green for chipping/bunker practice. The course was in excellent condition and has some very interesting holes. Hilton Honors members should remember that you can pay for your round with points (35K points instead of $240 greens fee).

I liked the south better simply because it appeared to have more variety and more interesting features, primarily water. Most is not in play, but makes for a wonderful backdrop to your shots. Play on a Saturday was not brisk, but we finished in 4:15, 15 minutes faster than recommended.

Both South and North courses are awesome. I would pick the South if you can only play once at The Boulders
