Hard to believe the rock formations here, they look like an elaborate Hollywood set.Any way, the place is beautiful, the staff is super the rooms are ok, the bathrooms leave a bit to be desired. My biggest complaint is that the Golf is open to the Public so be prepared for some slow play, unfortunate since this resort is Not...

Desert golf at its best on well kept challenging courses. We had 4 days of golf organized and cancelled our games on other courses in order to play both Boulders courses twice as we were staying at the resort and because we were so impressed by the golf courses.

Greens were awful. Camoflague with dark and light green and dying grass. Cups were not well maintained. Cart girl wasn't around much. Ambassador hasseled us re: pace of play mid round when we were on pace and finished in 4 hours 15 minutes

Just concluded a week long stay with my family and couldn't bear to leave. The property was gorgeous (it didn't hurt we had absolutely perfect weather), our accomodations luxurious and quiet (rented a villa), and the tennis (courts and instruction) wonderful. Member tournament going on the South course so I couldn't play it. The North course is very nice - good layout and a change from all the target golf at Troon North and We-Ko-Pa. The courses were immaculate. The greens fast, but not to the point of being tricked up. A seriously missed shot is a problem, but slightly off line will let you finish the hole. Comfortable new carts with all the latest comfort features. I liked the south course better, but both were wonderful!
