Lavender Jeep Tours is the best way to get to know Bisbee, Arizona. Since 2001, we have been introducing visitors to our community with driver-narrated tours throughout the hills and back roads of Old Bisbee, down to the "suburbs," and to the border, up into the Sky Islands, to the neighboring ghost towns and on a picnic to a nearby historic ranch.

We scheduled the "mile high city tour". It's a combo tour of two of their popular tours. Lots of history. Drove thru lots of very narrow streets to see colorful homes. Over two hours of info. $65 each. Driver was very informative.

I live just outside of Bisbee and I'm in Bisbee regularly, but when friends from Maine came for a short visit, I thought this would give them an opportunity to see Old Bisbee in all its true beauty. And right I was. Our driver and tour guide,Tom, is a native and generations so. In and out, up and down narrow,... More

A trip to Bisbee should include this intimate jeep tour winding through the quaint streets while Tom Mosier tells you about the history, the stories, the quirks, and the industry that formed the town in the 1880's. The tour is able to reach areas of town that would be a challenge on foot. The place is loaded with art, shops,... More

We showed up at the time/date confirmed, but the vendor didn't. I called the number on the office door, but was told (by a very rude man) we had no reservation. When I told him I had two emails from "Gary Dillard" confirming our trip, he said "can't be...we don't do email," then hung up on me. Another couple, who... More

Our driver/guide was Gary whom has a great wealth of knowledge of Bisbee and the surrounding areas. We enjoyed traveling the backroads / dirt roads seeking out all the mining towns turned to ghost towns of a bygone era. We even saw Coyotes and Mule Deer on our travels. Gary's stories of these towns and areas was very interesting. We... More

we took the 6 hour ghost tour with lavender jeep in Bisbee and had a great time. we visited three different ghost towns, traipsed through tombstone cemetery and traversed the Dragoon mountains. Our guide was knowledgeable about the area and knew how to drive on the gravel roads. The desert was green from the recent rains and we were able... More

Our group of 6 took the 2 hour Lavender Jeep Tour with Gary. It was fantastic to drive down the streets we would never go down in our rented vehicle! He was full of wonderful historic information and was happy to answer all of our questions. We drove through the hillsides of Bisbee and up to the highest point with... More

Extremely knowledgeable driver/guide. He has been involved in goings on in Bisbee since the seventies. Knows all the history and can answer questions you may have. Tours are on demand so you have to call.

First off, I love having a local guide tell me about a historic town and also fill me in on what is happening now. And we were not a bit disappointed in Bisbee. We got so much information from our driver, and a lot of personal attention to our questions as well. We took the two hour mining tour which... More

We took the Lavender Jeep Tour with Gary and were very glad that we did!! Bisbee is a very unique small city built into the side of a mountain with unbelievably steep narrow streets that we would have never attempted to drive on. Gary drove us all over his town while telling us about its history, buildings, economy, etc. He... More
