The Wrangell Museum is chock full of interesting stuff. If you want to get a quick overview of what Wrangell was, and is, about don't miss this stop. Be sure and save time for the gift shop. This is one of my favorite places to buy books....and of course some other things as well.

This museum is surprisingly good and encompasses the entire history of the area: geology, Native Americans, the fur industry, timber industry, and gold mining.
