I have visited Port Ghalib most years for the last 7 / 8 years as it is where the Safari Dive Boats set off from for the southern Red Sea. So we always have to stay there for the last night and day before departure. I remember the first time I visited that I thought that it would be really... More

Escursion to Port Ghalib is something nice that you have to try. Two parallel roads, one close to the sea and yachts, one with shops where local people will try to engage you to enter their shop and buy something, but where you could find interesting things to take with you. Bargaining is what you have clear in mind to... More

Beautiful clean place with nice sight on sea and landscape. Lot of various shops like clothes, shoes, bags etc. souvenir shops and bars or restaurants. People here are friendly but prices are quite high.

On the positive side it was a change from the hotel and a place to gt a decent coffee but if you expect activities and... More

A nice place for tourists but not big enough. More restaurant's and nightlife would have been 'more' fun.

Liked friendly people, the peace of the place, the freedom to get around, and the room. Disliked the food and hygiene of the restaurant.

A place where you can find plenty of shops and caffes, restaurants. However i don't find it as a real port because last week there were only 4 or 5 ships, nothing special. I can compare it to for example Old Market or Naama Bay in Sharm el Sheikh and Port Ghalib is definately much worse.
