Shopping and enjoying a drink or a meal in a safe environment. Friendly people, typical souvenir shops. Some nice yachts and a lovely view of the mountains and the sea. Our favorite spot: Divino.

Nice port - clean and quiet :-) Perfect place to come for daily diving and liveaboard. Several hotels are around, so the logistics is simple.

My family (pa, ma (its me), son-7 year, 1 year daughter) come to Port Galib with stroller by desert in 8 minutes from The three corners fayrose palace. First time for photos, second- for big shisha (100$) and souvenirs. Free water taxi. Good prices. Nice people. Hope to see the Marina beach barman again to say him thanks:)

Port, which was built by Sheikh is indeed created more for tourists than domestic but there was a pleasant atmosphere.

The gorgeous harbour of Port Ghalib is well worth a visit, we spent a lovely afternoon here, strolling along the harbour front, here expensive boats are moored, plenty of restaurants, costa coffee, and ice cream shop, the water is crystal clear and we could see angel fish bobbing up and down, the whole area is brand new, and man made,... we could have walked to here. Some shops were not yet occupied as it was all new. There was a yacht stuck on a sandbank in the entrance to the habour.
