A bus picked us up at the hotel to bring us to a harbour, full of bar's and restaurants and gift shops. All new construction and safe, maybe nice if you like to have some drinks outside the hotel. Quite expensive priced.

not that much to do, there's some coffe shops and shopping. Mostly male boutique owners. The resort was a much better place to hang than port Ghalib.

Felt very safe. Markets guys are so funny! Made lots of new friends! No. You don't have to buy something to make friends! Clean. Well maintained. Marina oozes money!

It could be a bit livelier, you can go to some place you know the name like - Baskin Robbins, Pizza Hut...

Handful of restaurants and coffee shops an usual souvenir shops. Be prepared to barter or you will pay well over the odds. Looking over the harbour side you could see lots of fish swimming about. This is an up and coming resort.

Do not expect a shoppers delight here, the highlight during the day is Costa Coffee , with prices comparable to the UK. Raspberry Iced Tea is particularly good. Wunder Bar is worth a visit in the evenings.

Very modern marina area. Artificially made lagoon area. Starting point for diving excursions. Lot of space for ships and visitors. Lot of shops for eager shoppers. Remember to bargain. It is sad, that nothing original is left.

Check this place out, it is a hidden gem known only to the diving community but there is much more to it. If you fly to Marsa Alam it is only a 10 minute transfer, good choice of hotels and nice walks along the beaches and the marina.
