If you are not able or interested to go snorkelling, this is nice way to see the wonders of underwater life. Most probably you will like it. For experienced divers this has nothing special to offer.

It seemed a lot more cost than the simple glass bottom boats but well worth it as you are actually then well below the water surface and so you get to see so much more - the boat goes right alongside the coral reefs and apart from the amazing fish and coral we saw snorkelers and scuba divers........fully air conditioned... It was a good experience to be able to see the fish in the submarine bit of the boat. It was a bit hit and miss with the fish you were able to see but you generally got a good view! Was not that keen on everything they could sell you being pushed into your face but there was no... More

We've never done one of these trips before, so we looking forward to seeing the coral and the fish without the aid of a snorkel and getting wet. The trip to boat took about one hour. When we got there we offered a picture, there was no hard sell as in other places just say 'no thanks' . The boat... More

we went on the trip and loved it. The only let down was the thomson rep Ash! Stunning views from sub as you go out, served soft drinks and free to wander around and take pictures. Once you get to the reef, which is literally 5-10 mins out, you go down into the viewing chamber, plenty of seats for everyone.... More

This was fab, you don't go out far but it seems like you do. The amount of fish and coral is amazing. The staff are polite and helpful. The tour guide on the bus, we booked through thomson, gave us lots of information on the area and Egyptian customs which was really good to hear. Would recommend this trip.

Not exactly a submarine but a boat with a glazed dropped hull to facilitate underwater viewing. Well worth the trip as there was plenty to see from the off. Gorgeous corals and amazing fish...not to mention divers!! I have been on several similar fish viewing boats worldwide and this was by far the best.

this is a great way for all the family to see all the colourful fish and divers, but be aware of all the extras, you arrive at the boat and they are taking pictures of you for £10 then selling you a leaflet on all the fish for a £1 you then get on the boat they are selling hats... More
