A very safe site for snorkeling beginners. I liked the Corel reefs and the fish. It is also very near to Port Ghalib by boat and accessible for the main road too.

As the boat approached the reef, we could see the Dugong surfacing. Myself and buddy, kitted up and spent about 10 minutes with it. The water was only about 3 metre deep, the visibility was not " Red sea" perfect but quite good. There was a few snorkelers on surface, that had a good view, but not as good as... More

There was a lot of other group with a lot of people, the place could be crowded. We had to swim in a hurry, so you are not able to stay at a point to wait for a great shot or moment to take picture or film, but overall the coral reef and the creatures are mind blowing ;)

May be - actually for sure - this place is not as great as Marsa Mubarak but it's also very nice and I reccomend to visit it. Very very nice pleasant sand, nice sea (you will probably see turtle and Napoleon fish) and many crabs funny running from you. We were told by one visitor they saw dugongo but we... More

Great place to do a check dive and to enjoy the reef view. Colours, marine life and lots of fun. Would easily go back diving there.

The reef was v nice but with all the noisy, polluting boats, visibility was quite poor. Perhaps if the boats came at different times it would be a bit less crowded and would be able to actually focus on what's under water rather then trying not to bump into other people swimming all around you.

Ivve been diving for a great many years and for the first time saw a sea cow here. An amazing experience with a great dive crew and boat from Colona DIvers. Again as we expect from Colona, always the best.

Very rough getting there and even rougher getting back but the actual bay beautiful and calm. However there was a very strong wind which felt very cold on getting out of the water.

Nice quiet area good snorkelling and diving for newbies as it is easy to enter the water from shore. The reef is very nice, with areas of really beautiful coral but often there are many boats moored meaning lots of divers in the water at the same time. Nice sheltered bay meaning little or no current but the currents when... More
