Lots of fish and turtles, nice coral reef. I wish we did diving instead of snorkeling it would of been much nicer. Turtles were huge and many of them. Overall a great place to go to.

Especially in the afternoon many safari boats stay there for noght and sometimes there are lots of divers at the same time in the water. we dive there from the shore, it is located betweeen Marsa Alam harbour and Airport, very closed to Abu Dabab, stunning corals, almost no current

was hard to see the turtles because they were in the deep and the instructor used to go too much fast!
We went there with Extra Divers from Fayrouz. I know we've been lucky - when we were snorkeling close to shore, a dolphin came to swim with us! It was swimming with us for 10 minutes, really close, it was an extraordinary experience. Reef is ok, there is a plenty of life there.
One of the places we went to dive with Emperor, stunning corals
Marsa Shoona is a very nice lagoon between Marsa Alam and the airport. The dive site is divided into 4 pieces (left and right in the lagoon and left and right outside the lagoon).
During our 3 dives (water temp 28° in Nov) we saw 2 eagle rays, 1 very large black spotted sting rays, several turtles, crocodile fish, murena,...
