Newport Museum and Art Gallery housed in the library building. What wonderful pearls in such sad surroundings. The Museum is filled with prehistoric and Roman artifacts and wonderful pieces of modern history (my great grandfathers time) pertaining to the hay day of Newport its industry and place in the history of Welsh labour movements and worker’s rights.
