This "garden" is reached by boat and is among the best snorkeling on the island. Be certain to wear your water - reef shoes and take your underwater camera to capture this spectacular garden's array of colorful fish and coral. The emerald water is so clear with so many species of vibrant - seemingly electric colored fish that the pictures... More

This is a must. There were so many different types of fish to see. Make sure you have a underwater/waterproof camera because you definitely want to take pictures.

We came to Coral Gardens as part of Lagoon Tour with Lagoon Service. It was our third snorkeling stop that day. We were swimming with sting rays first and after with sharks. The last stop was Coral Gardens. Water above coral garden was blue, even on rainy cloudy day, water color was beautiful. You can see change in color on... More

The lagoon around Bora Bora has many areas for snorkeling. The Coral Gardens have lots of patches of coral and lots of fish of different types swimming around. The water is not deep and one can stand in places (be carefully not to step on the coral or on stonefish). There are also areas to see sting rays (they are... More

Coral gardens were gorgeous, a big tourist attraction. Coral is not colourful but lots of fish, all different types and they come right up to you. Very cool experience, a must do I think.

A must do but if you have been to the barrier reef of Australia you are entitled to think it is not in the same league. When encompassed in a collective tour of Ray ,shark and coral garden tour it brings all the aspects together of why bora bora is a must see destination

Snorkeling with Oliver Martin, resident marine biologist, is about the best underwater experience you can get--for any age. Not only will you learn about coral grafting, feeding his fishy friends is memorable. We snorkeled the lagoon at least twice a day, but I advice to tour with Oliver first. The pufferfishes act like pets!

But if these are the specific ones our tour operator, Pure Snorkeling, took us too they were the best we've even seen with pink, white & purple coral too. It was one of the best snorkel trips I've ever taken.

This was really safe snorkelling. Lots of fish. Unfortunately with the hot Tahitian water most of the coral is bleached so it's not as colourful as the Great Barrier Reef. The one eel was pretty impressive..happily do it again
