I went to the Coral Gardens with a romantic tour charter, and this was one of the stops. It's an absolutely beautiful environment you can see by snorkeling - no diving required. Plenty of fish, colorful clams, great visibility! Strongly suggest you make this one of your stops in Bora Bora.

I could have spent the entire day here. I saw so many different varieties of fish! The coral was alive and beautiful. Moray eels, idol fish, butterfly fish and so many others.

Stay at Le Tahaa Resort and Spa and you are there. Drift snorkel then do it over again! Extremely cool.

Corel Gardens is THE spot to snorkel in Bora Bora. We took a boat tour with 25 people to the spot for some snorkeling and loved every minute of it. Then on to swim with the sting rays and sharks. A great adventure.

We took a trip organised through our hotel and our first stop was Coral Gardens. Well what can I say, the fish were in abundance and colourful, it was just beautiful. They swam sooo close, unlike other places we have been and we have been to some lovely snorkeling spots. Even the unusual fish came and touched our hands. The... More

Kayaked here for free from Le Moana, and put the kayak on the land nearby to snorkel. The site is located directly behind sofitel private island. You'll see where the tour boats stop from Matira point. Anyway, the water is crystal clear, and there are many pretty fish. A lot of the coral itself looks in rough shape, and while... More

This place is absolutely a MUST DO if you are anywhere near Taha'a or Raiatea, French Polynesia. The clarity of the water, the abundance of sealife, the quality and colors of the coral and the ease of access are all so far beyond normal expectations, it's almost surreal. I have no idea about the accommodations at the Le Taha'a, as... More

One of the most stunning underwater scenes I've ever seen. My wife and I have snorkeled all over the world, and this tops our list. A stunning array of sea life, including more fish species that I can count, sharks, manta rays and turtles. Just amazing.

This is truly a spectacular place to see so many varieties of fish and sea life. But to some extent it is being over-loved. The boats bring in the hordes of people, drop their ropes and anchors on the coral, and then the snorkelers crowd all over the place, touching and even standing on the coral. I fear all this...
