Loved kayaking out from the Intercontinental Le Moana and seeing the fish and coral reef. This is a must see!

Go there by boat with a day tour (if possible day trip around the lagoon). Make sure you bring some bread of fish food to have thousands of fish swimming around you!

A must do while in bora bora. It's like swimming in an aquarium. Make sure you bring a good under-water camera. I regret not having one.

As part of a snorkeling trip we visited the coral gardens, an underwater array of gorgeous coral formations and colors. The water is crystal clear and you can just drift in the current while taking in the glorious underwater sights.

Really worth the visit. Beautiful varieties of fishes and coral. An amazing snorkeling experience for beginners to advanced swimmers and divers.

All the tours stop at this location and for good reason. The fish are plentiful. The waters are relatively calm. Enjoy

Snorkelled here as part of EcoTour's full day trip. Just stunning! Take an underwater camera as the amount of fish life is amazing.

It's like condominium towers of coral, each with its own culture ... different inhabitants and neighbors. It was not a bad swim across to this area from the Maitai, even easier if you are staying at the Sofitel. Worth the effort, truly.

We went to the Coral Gardens on a day trip and didn't get to see a lot as we got caught in a really strong current and got taken away from the reef itself. Thank goodness our Guide was watching out for us as he had to come around with a boat to rescue us...it was even too strong for... More
